It’s ok, it’s basic but well overpriced! Also impossible to find if you don’t know the university well. The bed was so hard it was like concrete. No TV but a kettle and lots of storage space. The room was clean but could do with a bit of an update. I would not recommend unless you are desperate.

Filthy. Filthy Filthy Mould all over bathroom tiles . No television in bedroom, Stains down wall and filth on skirting boards in bedroom Mould around window in bedroom nothing to prepare meals in shared kitchen. No cutlery or crockery. Town centre is a 30 / 40 minute walk

A comfortable and convenient place to stay. It is on the Uni campus, head for the Keynes reception. The room was clean, spacious and bright. It is a 30 minute walk into the centre of town ( uphill on the way back). You can get a Uni bus into town which is cheap. The breakfast was fine, and there is a co-op on campus. I stayed when the students were on holiday so cannot comment on noise. The TV in the room had no logic in the channels. There is a kettle etc. There is a large communal kitchen. The accommodation is of travel lodge standard and is good value. There is parking on site .

Positives: Cheap Very clean Great shower\wet room Comfy bed Free parking Free wifi Tea and coffee in room Free breakfast Cons : Not easy to find - I was travelling alone to attend an interview at Kent and Canterbury Hosp on Sat morning at 9 am Rang on the Fri eve to say I was lost - at one stage I thought about abandoning the car and getting a cab there! Am totally unfamiliar with the campus and the signage was unclear Used the fobs to get into the building and room\still struggled to find the specified room The room doors have keyholes which I found confusing, when I had been given a plastic fob Luckily was only saying one night, as I lugged my suitcase up to the second floor, no lift. Unfortunately I needed to leave earlier than when breakfast started (at 7.45 am) so I can't comment on the choice Reception was closed when I left, there was a note on the wall about collecting keys I don't know whether you needed to ring to pass keys back, I was on a tight schedule, so I wedged the envelope with the keys in in the door handle I think I would stick with a Travelodge next time if I needed an overnight stay in Canterbury - a lot less stressful
