Cardiff North

This had been the worst mattress we have slept on for a very long time and had very little sleep and cannot believe this is a Hypnos mattress as thats always been the reason for us staying at Premier Inns, no issues with the rest of the hotel but considering you book these rooms for a good nights sleep this did not prove the case

Good location, nice hotel, clean rooms, Convenient distance to city center however far enough to be quiet, good food provided on meal deal. Issues with key card for room not working however Kat on reception helped with this. Would stay again in the future

10/5, Duty manager Kit was very helpful, me and my girlfriend had a meal deal, he was very helpful in guiding us to the best food on the menu, kit had mentioned he was new to the area but still had some very good recommendations for restaurants and knew all the bus routes from Cardiff north to the centre. Rooms amazing and exceeded our expectations for a premier inn. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Food amazing and area is amazing for short walks.

Not informed during check in that I needed to request a room service - clean, during a 3 night stay. No clean towels. No fresh water. Phoned reception - 10 minute wait. Went to the hotel reception, told I would receive items and I did not! Appalling service. Also I was in one of the Premier Plus Rooms. Air Con does not work. Repulsive hotel. Repulsive standards.

We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and the changes since then have been monumental. A complete refurbishment has taken place. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in is fully automated but fairly straightforward but staff will help if required. There is plenty of seating around the bar area. Restaurant is also spacious.

Reliably good, clean budget hotel. Restaurant food was good, staff excellent but the credit card payment system couldn’t cope with tips so the staff miss out in these days of no cash, a great shame. Usual comfy bed and simple but adequate facilities. Good shower.

I stopped here for two nights..22nd&23rd in the premium plus room, 4th floor. The room was fantastic, clean and tidy, the bathroom was perfect. The drinks and fridge was a good touch. Very quiet room and a good night sleep on both nights.. The food was faultless, evening meal and breakfast was spot on. The staff was all very helpful, but one person would go out of her way to help…. This was Samantha. So far the best premium I have ever stopped at…. Well done..

Had an early appointment at the Heath hospital and decided to stay at the Premier Inn overnight. On our arrival we were met with machines to check in, which was fairly straight forward, but I still prefer to be met by someone. The hotel looked as if it had been recently updated and was clean. The room was clean and proved to be quiet. We decided to purchase the meal deal with a drink which is good value for the price, the evening meal was very tasty as was the cooked breakfast. The only staff we met were the restaurant staff and they were efficient and friendly. Because of its position being close to the M4 and its proximity to the centre of Cardiff the hotel seams very popular with contactors and business people. Overall the hotel is very good.

Stayed at this particular Premier inn as it was minutes away from my daughter. It was the best Premier I've ever stayed in. Well worth paying a little bit extra for a premier plus room. The decor and soft furnishings in reception area and bar and restaurant are SO lovely. Every member of staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very good value
