“I had the best time of my life at Vista Del Alma! Everything was 100% perfect—the room was immaculate, the service was exceptional, and the view was absolutely magical. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby, with high-quality pillows adding to the experience. The breakfast was rich and flavorful, offering a great start to each day. The bar, with its pool and amazing views, was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. This place exceeded all my expectations, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”

This hotel is a very special one ! It’s 300 feet high on a cliff over looking the ocean. Complete privacy for each vila, high end design for the vila. Stephanie, our best ever concierge was so helpful that we took a 45 min drive to bring her the cake she liked . Great breakfast, one of the best I got in Costa Rica, served on the pool side cafe, with the ocean humming in the background. The owner is consistently asking us what else can they do to improve our experience, We had bila#6 , one with an Infiniti pool, to die for ….. Great clean and organic toiletry were organic high end verbana type. All and all just a magnificent magical place.

Orna is the most amazing owner we have ever met. Our stay at the hotel was a dream. The room is designed in an incredibly innovative and unique way. The shower is a dream with windows overlooking the ocean. An amazing and clean jacuzzi sits on a huge balcony overlooking the ocean. Orna took care of everything we needed and always checked to make sure we were okay and everything was going well. She took care of an amazing vacation for us, including flights to Santa Teresa and getting from the airport to the hotel. The luxurious suites are secluded and you can only hear the sound of the ocean. It was the best vacation of my life. The pool, the food, the cleanliness, the innovative design, the !!coffee machine, everything was perfect

Don't worry about the lack of a lot of reviews or this hotel being labelled an "inn" on Trip Advisor. Book it and you won't regret it. We've been to Costa Rica 7 times and have stayed at some of the nicest hotels in the country. Vista Del Alma is our #2. That is ONLY because they lack a full restaurant/ bar which isn't really a big deal. It just puts our #1 hotel slightly over the top. Vista Del Alma still serves a lovely hot breakfast served to your room every morning. There is a wonderful little Nespresso in your room plus a small fridge. Not to mention a small kitchen. Snacks poolside can be had all day along with cocktails. Dinner can be delivered to your room from many of the great restaurants in Santa Teresa. Food is not an issue and this is coming from a foodie. Santa Teresa has some of the best restaurants in Costa Rica and they're all very close by. We stayed at Villa #4- the Aquamarine unit with the pool. The decking and furniture could use some new stain or a refresh. Aside from that the unit is simply wonderful. The views are lovely. The huge doors open fully exposing the entire suite to the sounds of waves lapping on the shore. Nothing better than waking up in the morning and throwing those doors open to the ocean, the birds and the sun. I spent many a morning in the hanging chair with an incredible croissant and my coffee just gazing at the ocean. We also enjoyed admiring the ocean from our private pool as well. Be aware- like ALL of these small hotel pools in CR- it is not heated. During the rainy season the wonderful jungle foliage that is so pretty and private- also shades the pool. It was about 85F most of the time (July) which isn't terrible. If you really prefer heated just get a jacuzzi room. (The wonderful staff at Alma let us preview this suite for our next visit.) During the Costa Rican summer the pool in Aquamarine would be wonderful and refreshing. The room was large, the bathroom great and the dual shower heads were wonderful. We're not stay-in the room kind of people but I had no problem doing absolutely nothing in this room. Even in rainy season it was perfect. Listening to the rain fall amidst the ocean noise and the breeze was so peaceful. We visited many of the beach-side hotels directly on the water for our next visit just because I thought I wanted beach front. While you can hear the occasional loud bike or truck on the main road in Santa Teresa from Alma it didn't bother me. I VERY much consider myself sensitive to road noise and I wasn't bothered by it. The views, privacy and overall solitude far outweighed any ancillary noise or benefits of beach-side hotels. (Who had their own noise issues.) Our free yoga class was wonderful. Even my husband enjoyed it. One note on the drive up to the hotel- this IS Costa Rica. I've read some reviews complaining about the roadway to the hotel and they are misplaced. No- its not perfect. But neither are most of the roads in CR. These aren't giant hotel conglomerates wh
