False advertisement. They dont have breakfast. False statement

The hidden doorway, interior courtyard, and connection to the other aged buildings on the street all created a perfect scenario for a unique stay. The staff were pleasant, yet absent in terms of service. One night of our stay, it rained torrentially. Earlier in the day, the young woman at the small front desk offered an umbrella for each couple because of the promise of rain. Later in the day though, with rain pooling in the interior courtyard and a power outage, there was no communication from the staff. The room was small. Not quite cramped, but nearly so. The bathroom was not designed for two people to get ready at once; frankly it was a chore for me to maneuver my six-foot frame in and out to shower and shave. It seemed clean, and we didn't stay long enough to really gauge the cleaning or hospitality. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do, including the fort. Even with substantial traffic passing by each day, the area offered a sense of safety for walking and touring.

My wife and I stayed there for 5 days and managed to go to the main touristic points either on foot or by Uber at very low fares. There is plenty of small markets, pharmacies, money exchange, restaurants and bars in the surroundings. The service is very nice and they really make an effort to please and serve us well. I do recommend this hotel!

Clean, comfortable, airy hotel, old and cozy decor, air-conditioned rooms; attentive, smiling and dear staff, from the reception to the kitchen and cleaning staff. Breakfast is interesting as it is ‘a la carte’ with local food options and a continental breakfast option. In the street of the hotel there are countless restaurants and bars, the historic center is 10 minutes walking and taxis are passing by the door at all times. However, if you expect an “ordinary” type of hotel, this is not the case. Breakfast is individual and served in a controlled manner ‘per option’, rooms are small and the bathroom is old and has just cold water; it takes a free spirit not to bother with these details.

I want to add to Ryan Wirth’s negative review (we are traveling together). What is especially upsetting about having our reservation cancelled 2 weeks after it was confirmed and less than 2 weeks before our trip is that the hotel doesn’t seem to care. The news was delivered via email in a very standardized form rather than a personal phone call. When we called the hotel after receiving the email they were completely indifferent, simply confirming that our reservation was cancelled because they are “at capacity” with no expression of concern or acknowledgement of the inconvenience this causes. We believe the hotel gave our reservation to another party, perhaps friend or family, who expressed interest in staying there after we did. The hotel did not apologize and have not attempted to mitigate the situation in any way, by for example assisting us with making a reservation somewhere else, offering a credit to the hotel or some local amenity. Overall, very bad customer service. We don’t recommend.

Súper recomendado!! Desde que llegué recibí un excelente servicio, estuvieron muy atentos a mis preguntas sobre las actividades que quería realizar. Instalaciones muy bonitas volvería sin duda!
