Errigal Country House Hotel

The hotel was outstanding from food, garden spa, staff and rooms. A hotel were you can truly relax and unwind and treat yourself to a great massage and great food and drinks. Cocktails were outstanding and staff so friendly and attentive especially Gary. Great service and good old fashioned Irish banter and Peter too. We feel refreshed and rested, we will be back.

Had an amazing stay at Errigal hotel , staff were amazing and super helpful with any issues we alerted them to. Rooms are lovely super modern and spacious. The food was wonderful !! Compliments to the chefs !! We are super picky eaters restaurants nowadays are never up to scratch , but this place is the best we have eating in long time. Bao bun & curry were amazing ! Will defiantly return to the this hotel and hopefully the outdoor spa area will be open for use by then.

We had booked a one night stay with access to the new R&R spa area. This is just a small outdoor space containing 2 hot tubs, 2 plunge pools, and a sauna. Not exactly my idea of a 'spa', but it was fine. After our 2 hours in the 'spa', we returned to our room to get showered and changed for dinner. When I say our room was full of flies, it was actually disgusting. We ended up having to call reception and asked to be moved to another room. Thankfully, the new room didn't have the same issue, but no one apologised for the inconvenience. No one seemed too bothered by the complaint in any way. Dinner was a little disorganised and slow. Drinks were ordered when our food was ordered. Starters were served, but the drinks still hadn't arrived. We were told they were on the way, the bar was busy making a cocktail tree for another table, which was fair enough. When our drinks were finally made they sat on the bar waiting to be brought to our table. In the end we got them ourselves. The rest of the dinner was fine, nothing too special. Breakfast the next morning was extremely slow, despite there only being 3 tables in the restaurant. Again, our food was just OK and there was not much of a selection buffet-wise. To say this is a 4-star hotel seems a stretch. I've stayed in better 3-star hotels. Overall, not a place I would return to.

We had a very relaxing break in the Errigal Country House Hotel. Staying in the spacious and luxurious Champagne suite with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve found anywhere we have stayed. Although only a short trip to the closest town, we decided to eat in the bar and were glad we did. We couldn’t fault the food. Extremely tasty and a nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks. An absolute credit to Niall and the whole team there and we’re already planning our return.

Lovely customer facing staff, amazing food but housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired.Moved room three times (twice for dirty room s) Third room had no Aircon on one of the hottest weekends of the year!

Our stay was very good. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Check in was very straight forward and the receptionist was very helpful, giving advise on dining options etc. We had dinner in the new restaurant and were served by the lovely Sophie who was charming and so friendly and chatty. Our room was spacious and clean and comfortably. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the service was excellent. Overall a very good experience and enjoyable stay.
