Iberostar Coral Ensenachos

Комнаты огромные: столовая, гостиная, ванная комната и мини-кухня (которая бесполезна, нет столовых приборов и посуды), большая спальня с будуарным уголком и очень большая галерея с шезлонгами для спа и столом со стулом. Я считаю, что этот сайт, должно быть, был выдающимся, когда он открылся 20 лет назад, но теперь его следует понизить до 4 звезд и еще раз. Забудьте о роскошных аксессуарах в ванной, их просто нет. Дворецкие довольно милые, остальные откровенно холодные или даже глупые. На территории и в номерах чисто, но правда все очень повреждено. Центральный спа-центр рядом с бассейном, который не работает, сломанные стулья выброшены или спрятаны там и т. д. Обслуживание долгое, но мы находимся на юге, это нормально, однако 10 минут ожидания у барной стойки напитка PCQ, когда бармен исчез неизвестно куда, становится довольно раздражающим, особенно когда на сайте всего около десяти человек клиентов. Вопреки тому, что нам сказали, еда хорошая и по количеству, и по выбору, и по качеству. К сожалению, на пляже палапы (нужно упомянуть разлагающихся поваров) недостаточно для количества клиентов. Короче говоря, это хороший отель, но очень далекий от 5 звезд.

Wow where to begin! we arrived home april 5th and had spent 10 days at this beautiful paradise. I have delayed writing my comments as I am worried I will forget one or 2 or more of the names of all the beautiful staff who are just amazing! Every Butler who assisted us was professional and so helpful. We had a few minor health issues and they were there to assist with whatever they could! Diana Sanchez Mendez her husband Yandry Morales Gonzalez, Roberto, Michel, and more sorry I forgot the names, you were all so helpful to us! The beautiful young lady the receptionist is so friendly and warm. The maids were wonderful and the cleaning staff Diana thanks! the wait staff and room service staff amazing as well, Dario Castillo Jamie, Luis, Yoslet, and more, thank you! Bar staff pool, Anier Martínez Rodríguez, and Beach bar staff Augustin aka GUS the white wine with ice and mojitos were wonderful! Pool staff Orlando and friend, thanks for all the chairs and cushions daily. All of the drivers that helped us get back and forth from the large resort especially Andy! thank you I wish I could remember more of your names thank you to all of you for such a wonderful vacation! We miss your paradise already and hope to be back quickly! Omg and Hector the social butterfly and games organizer, pool pong etc were so much fun! 😘 This resort is gorgeous and immaculate and the staff do everything they can to make your stay the very best. Another awesome vacation at a place we now consider our second home. The room, the grounds, the awesome beaches exceeded our expectations once again. The food was plentiful and succulent with no shortages to speak of. The main reason we return to this beautiful resort year after year is because of the excellent service we receive from the staff. In particular, Diana and Yandry, our butlers who always find a way to make our stay better than the one before. To the restaurant staff, Yasmany, Yaquenia, Beatriz, Gissele, Livan just to name a few... Thank you for your great service and your wonderful sense of humor and to Diana, for keeping everything so clean and spotless. We look forward to our next visit so we can all see you again!

We have been to many great resorts. Cayo Leventado twice, Sian Kaan, two other Gran Bahias, Cap Cana twice, two Royaltons, Riu Palace, multiple Oceans, Royals... All of which we would not hesitate to return to, and some we already have. But none offered the quality of service we experienced at Coral Ensenachos. From the late night check in to the afternoon check out, it was absolutely wonderful. Great job folks.

We have been visiting this property for over 15 years and it never fails to disappoint. After our first visit in 2008 we knew we found our forever place. We stayed from February 13-29. We arrived after 11PM and check in was quick and efficient. We stayed in bungalow 7101 which had an ocean view and was in close proximity to the lobby, pool and beach. The bungalow was kept very clean by the chambermaids. We had an issue with the hot tub but it was fixed within an hour of reporting the problem. As most people are aware there are food shortages in Cuba but that did not bother us one bit. We were there for 2 weeks out of which there were no eggs for a whole week. We always ordered a fruit platter which had papaya, pineapple, watermelon and pear. Instead of eggs we ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with bacon, sausages and toast. The morning cappuccinos were delicious. Lunch for us was at the beach restaurant and the chef was excellent. We enjoyed every single meal at lunch from salads, soups, grilled fish, sandwiches and the champagne was flowing every day! Dinners were always at the Colonial restaurant. Even though there were the same 2 menus the choices were very good and the food was delicious. Luis Angel who is the manager made sure to change things up by having a gala dinner by the pool and by the beach where there was a chef barbecuing meat and seafood including lobster. He would always stop to chat with us to make sure everything was fine. We would have drinks before dinner and the bartender Alberto made great cocktails. My husband was drinking Glenmorangie 18 year old scotch ($300. a bottle in Toronto). They had all the top shelf liquor. The number 1 reason we keep returning here is the staff that we have come to know over the years. A big thank you to the restaurant staff especially Yaquenia who is the epitome of professionalism. She goes above and beyond to please the guests and of course the other restaurant staff Giselle, Beatrice, Luis, Amanda, Yasmani, and Levan. Very, very polite and pleasant people. Can’t wait to see you all again. We would also like to thank the butlers Dismar, Anita, Roberto, Yandry and Diana who we had dealings with. We were very disappointed not to see Yuri and found out he was no longer working at this hotel. Note to management……you need to BRING YURI BACK. He has been at this hotel from the start and he knows his job very well. There were so many guests we spoke to that were shocked and disappointed not to see him. We hope to see him again during our next visit. We would also like to thank the bartenders in the main lobby, Alexander and Gustavo who are very professional. These guys are miracle workers when it comes to creating a drink especially when they don’t have all the ingredients necessary but somehow they create what you order. We had a wonderful week at the Iberostar Coral Ensenachos. The staff are truly amazing. The room exceeded our expectations. The only minor disappointment was the decision not to include beer and soft drinks in our room. Hopefully management will reserve this decision. The food was good and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that you enjoyed your stay. The Ensenachos Beach is spectacular. Definitely planning a return trip.

We keep coming back to this resort year after year. We love the Coral level and enjoy the amenities, the beaches, and the weather. However we mainly come back for the staff. They take really good care of everyone whether you are a first time guest or a returning guest. The butlers, Yandry, Diana, Michel, Roberto, Dismar and Anita, who will do everything they can to ensure you have the best vacation, The drivers, Elvis, Roberto, Duvier, Alec, Angel, Jesus, Koki, and Pedro, who will drive you at all hours. The gardeners who keep the place looking beautiful and lush. The restaurant staff, Jacquie, Levan, Lois, Yaslet, Amanda, Dario, Yasmani, Giselle, Leanne, and Beatrice. The bartenders Anier, Alberto (Sangrias) Augustine and Dianebey. The best chef at lunch Hyman, delicious! The pool boys Michael and Orlando cleaning the pool and making sure you have a cushion. Some people may never notice the two chambermaids at night, Lesandra and Wendy, who turn down your bed when you’re probably having dinner. They are so nice. And last but absolutely not least Hector, who does his job with a smile every day. A great addition to the resort. It is the staff that makes the Coral level special.

The experience with Sunwing lived up to our expectations: no delays, no lost luggage, and it was easy to contact our representative on site. The idea of going back already appeals to us, especially the idea of one day enjoying an ocean view, a dream we haven't yet been able to realize. But the hope remains, and what a joy it would be! Here are a few highlights: • An exceptional wild beach, with no resort adjacent to the Coral section. • A beach restaurant offering excellent lunch options with stunning sea views and occasional mariachi performances. • Remarkable food quality for Cuba, with sufficient variety despite a scarcity of whole eggs. The omelettes and bacon were delicious, however. • Unique accommodations in the form of villas, admittedly aging and in need of repair, but offering breathtaking space. • Crystal-clear water ideal for snorkelling right from the beach. I should have brought my own equipment. • An aquatic bar in the pool • High-quality and varied cocktails. • Easy access to the main family resort, Iberostar Ensenachos Selection, thanks to a 24-hour shuttle service. • An entertaining Japanese restaurant at the main resort, with decent food but highly recommended for the experience. • An appreciable selection of white wine. Good sparkling wine, albeit sweet. • Excellent availability of alcoholic beverages and beautifully presented fresh fruit at breakfast. • Coral section very, very quiet. No bar service past 10:30pm (not a problem for us). I would say ideal for people in need of total relaxation. However, a few weak points are worth noting: - Faulty air conditioning, making our room quite hot. - A shower with insufficient flow, making it very, very difficult to wash long hair, and a 95% blocked shower drain. - A dirty, poorly maintained outdoor hot tub, with water requiring more frequent changing. I would not dip a toe in there. - Butlers are more akin to a receptionist for the Coral section. Not a problem for us, but it is not a true butler service as one may imagine. We mentioned our issues to the ‘butlers’ with the AC, shower and hot tub: no results. This is not the butlers’ fault, of course! Iberostar should improve the site. Despite these points, our overall stay remains very positive. - The Italian restaurant, not recommended according to feedback from several couples we met on site. - I was bitten by many ferocious sand flies. However, it seems like no other tourists were affected. I wonder what attracted them to me. - 6 days out of 7, at 2pm-3pm, the wind was so strong that we had to leave the beach. Some tourists didn’t mind though and stayed until dinner. - You have to wake up early to reserve a chair at the beach. Unfortunately not very relaxing… but totally feasible. We would absolutely go back to this resort. Hopefully we will get an ocean view next time!

If you are looking for the perfect mix of quiet and fun in Cuba, this resort is perfect. Coral only has 46 villas and was full when we were there. The whole vacation seemed like we were at a very private resort with our own beautiful private beach. The staff was very attentive and pampered us from start to finish. The main resort lobby is 3km away from the adults only Coral section but shuttles run regularly from before 7am-11pm. The shuttle drivers were some of our favourite people. They were all so friendly and helpful!! We ate at all of the restaurants except the Italian one and the only food I didn't enjoy was the buffet. (only tried it once) The beach and pool dinners are definitely a must and include entertainment! The nightly entertainment at the main hotel was good and the activity director at the Coral (Hector) made our week so much fun! Alberto and Anier, the bartenders at the pool, always had a smile and always remembered us and our favourite drinks. I would go back to the Coral just to see Anier again. He made us feel very welcome.
