good location, friendly staff, fantastic view

Okay so the short version: Hotel: Exceptionally clean and modern Rooms: Spacious, cleaned daily and well worth upgrading to Superior as you will at least get a view of the sea, and possibly - like we did - get a fabulous room with a view of the sea, the promenade and Old Town! Staff: The reception staff are incredibly helpful. I must specifically mention Rosario, Damiele and Martima - absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Oh and always with a brilliant smile, which can often be lacking in some places in Sicily Location: Fantastic! Beach, town and shops all within a 5-10 minute walk - along a stunning promenade. Food: We were only B&B but for 14 days and there was everything you could want - and all fresh and well presented. Overall: I’m particularly choosy but I’d definitely say ‘Book it’ you won’t be disappointed. The longer version: Yes there is a disco / nightclub event on each Saturday - personally we loved it and you get free entry so why not embrace it. The beach is a bit rocky at the place directly opposite the hotel - however the loungers are free for guests so it’s really worth it. If you walk 200 yards left - away from the town - there is a part that is completely soft sand and easy to access Be careful if you take a boat trip seeing the coast. Get one with rave reviews and do your homework. Ours was pretty shoddy with crew smoking and drinking whilst we were out at sea - but then again, it was his birthday 🤷‍♂️🙈😊 I’d highly recommend the Quad Adventure and the Paragliding - they were fantastic! Details in reception. In the local restaurants they will add a service charge to you bill. It will say ‘copperto’ and it’ll need about 4-6 euros per couple. However just 100 yards from the hotel is a bar - see the pictures below - where they don’t charged you this and do great food, drinks and vibe. I mentioned the reception staff earlier, they are a huge asset to the hotel and will go over and above for you! Bravo! If you arrive at night, Gabby will be there to meet you and she is incredibly passionate about the hotel and will also make your start to your holiday feel SO good! Overall, have a great time - the rest is up to you. The hotel sets you up perfectly though to have an amazing time like we did. 🥰

Super hotel, not too big, bit querky. Very friendly guests from UK and elsewhere. Good pool, no problems getting a sun-bed at any time. We had a suite facing the sea, great views. Only significant complaint is the nosie on Saturday night. The hotel opens its garden to become a bar with thumping loud music which starts at 11pm and goes on into the small hours! No warning given. Rooms facing the pool or front get the noise. we did complain the next morning and got just a faint 'sorry' from the front desk. Also they are strict about not taking food in from outside shops etc. Which is undertandable but they dont provide much bar food selection in the evening.
