Victoria Villa Guesthouse

Once again we returned to Victoria Villa for a weeks break . Both Kevin and Karen couldn’t be more friendlier ( and Katie the dog ) if they tried . They’re so helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a happy one . The room was clean and fresh with a comfortable bed . Breakfast was perfectly cooked by Kevin . Would recommend this guest house to everyone. We’ll definitely be back again .

We had a lovely time at the Victoria Villa Guesthouse ; the guesthouse was very welcoming and a very good place to stay in Clacton - close to the seafront and an excellent base to go exploring the area. Many thanks

This was the third time we had stayed at this delightful Guesthouse. The hosts Kevin and Karen (not forgetting Katie the dog) are very friendly and welcoming. Our room, each time, has always been very clean and comfortable, and we have been lucky to get a room with a sea view. Breakfast, which was delicious, is ordered the previous day and there is a good selection. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and was pleased to see that Gluten free bread and sausages are available and also soya milk. The Guest House is about a fifteen minute walk from the Princess Theatre in one direction and less than ten minutes walk to the Pier/beach and Town centre in the other. We will definitely be going back.

Another perfect stay at this amazing B &B nothing too much trouble for this lovely couple Karen and Kevin lovely comfortable clean rooms brilliant breakfast downsized but it still beat me ! Nothing too much trouble for these excellent hosts can’t wait to return

Great weekend, Karen and Kieth are brilliant hosts and no one could fault Keith’s breakfast. very generous portions and cooked lovely . Nothing was too much trouble very helpful with parking and mobility scooter storage lovely clean rooms will definitely return

Kevin is a fantastic host and cook. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I was poorly on my first afternoon, after having to wait to check-in, Kevin was fantastic and made me feel at ease and could not do enough to help. The breakfast is lovely and prepared to order. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely clean, spacious and well aired rooms with lots of added extras. Katie the gorgeous lab is a pleasure, very quiet but will take as much fuss as you can give. Bathroom was amazingly clean and tidy (not a water mark in sight) The only let down was the sound of the glass bins being emptied behind the guest house at 0430 in the morning. Something that is well beyond Kevin’s control but just a warning for any light sleepers who like to have the windows open at night!
