On 30th of july 22 we checked in at Kyriad Prestige Hotel Clermont Ferrand. We plant a stop-over on our way back to Berlin, and we were looking forward to a modern, comfortable and attractive hotel, as described on *********** To make a long story short, it was a complete disappointment. Sorry: It was a disaster. The lobby and the breakfast-room are very cozy and convincing, but: As we discovered the two leftover bedrooms out of the eighties, contained with a carpet "talking" about the parties of the last decade, which do not fit to the modern imagery displayed on ***********, we felt already disapointed. We will leave that behind, to come straight to the point: As we went to bed, we discovered a wet mattress. I've never experienced anything like this. A wet, urinated mattress in a four star hotel? I tried to call the reception. But the telephone was dead.. no line. Okay, next disappointment. So, I got up, changed again clothes to get down to the reception. But no one at the desk. I rang the bell, and waited for the night porter, who occurred after 5 minutes. He came up to check the mattress too, and confirmed the disgusting condition of the mattress. (He was really nice, and tried to apologize the situation) Due to the fact, the kyriad was fully booked, he offered a stay at a hotel in the neighborhood. Which would have been a good idea, if I would have traveled alone, and not with two little kids and my wife, so I decided not to relocate the half of the family at midnight, and stayed with my son in that room, with the wet matress... At least we got a free breakfast, and a dead end email communication until end of the year 2022, because we tried to get our money back. Until now, we did not received anything back, and no answer to our last request.
