The Alpine Motel

The owners were easy to work with, will most Definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. It is a self check in. There is coffee for the morning, I just had to ask for the code. The pillows weren’t my favorite, but I still had a great night sleep.

. Very nice motel in quiet little town. Enjoyed our stay. Very scenic drive to get to the town. Nice area. Will stay there again if we're ever in the area.

Self check in motel was clean and as advertised. Collbran is very small with few eating options. Was $200 less expensive than Grand Junction.

Room, service and all employees are very awesome! Also gave a beautiful view of the mountains from the room, this hotel is located in Collbran Colorado just minutes away from Vega Lake and State Park. Alpine motel has great owners as well as management and the cleaning and upkeep are second to none. Rooms are recently renovated and very cozy. This place just has a great down-home feeling!

Alpine Motel - what a gem! We were on a road trip to Keystone and decided to stop here for a one night stay. It's just outside of Grand Junction and worth the detour to visit this quaint little town. There's easy access to the Grand Mesa and Powderhorn Mountain Resort. The motel is conveniently located on Main Street and a quick walk away from restaurants. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the many accommodations - WiFi, smart TV, fridge and microwave! This isn't your basic motel. There's even a Tiki room on the 2nd level for guests to enjoy the view, hang out, play guitar, and mingle with other travelers. The new owners really take pride in this motel and it shows! We can't wait to visit again!

We had the most pleasant experience at the Alpine Motel during our stay there on August 27, 2022. We arrived early and every attempt was made to accomodate our early arrival. The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets. We will make arrangements to stay here the next time we are in the area. Everything we need is within walking distance.

Stayed for 1night and highly recommend this gem of a motel off the beaten track (i70 that is). It was recently done up and the interiors are clean and modern. We had about 10towels between us and plenty of coffee, shower gels etc. Pennington -the manager- was exceptionally attentive with everything without being intrusive and had plenty recommendations when wanting to explore town.

My husband and I stayed 3 days at this lovely motel during the week of 4th of July. I was absolutely speechless how gorgeous this motel is. EVERYTHING was spotless, even outside. The parking lot, breezeways, stairs, wow! Our room was immaculate. As a former editor in chief of Travel & Leisure (since retired) I ALWAYS check bathrooms first then make my way to the sinks and bed. The Bathroom was unbelievable. Next the bed! I'm honestly still in shock of how perfectly executed the bed was made. The linens were folded down and tucked in immaculately to perfection. (to which I expect) The beautiful clean white sheets had no wrinkles, it was seamless. The pillow cases were ironed, and crisp. The pillows and mattress are extremely comfortable! The towels were ROLLED and positioned perfectly! The towels that were placed on the bed had a wonderful aroma of FRESH linen and were the softest towels ever! Like heaven! We also loved the spotless gorgeous tiled floors! Pennington, the motel manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Pennington was absolutely amazing, he anticipated our needs and made us feel at home. My husband and I do a lot of traveling and we have never experienced the level of service and hospitality that the General Manager Pennington provided us. From serving us complimentary delicious breakfast and coffee in the FABULOUS TIKI room to making recommendations for restaurants and shopping in the Grand Junction area. Pennington even provided us with complimentary bottles of Evian water and even baked us a delicious blackberry cobbler! Thank you Pennington for being the BEST in the industry and we will definitely be returning! I will be mentioning The Alpine Motel and Incredible General Manager Pennington to our magazine.
