This is a private unit and only YOU will have access to all spaces listed during your stay. The rear door in the backyard serves as your private entrance and you also have private off-street parking for 2 cars. We want our guests to have the best stay possible and pride ourselves on being responsive, accommodating and friendly. This is a 600sf apartment with a private entrance and driveway, queen size bedroom, full bathroom with shower, stylish living room, a brand new kitchenette and laundry area. There is a shared wall between this apartment and the one next door - expect to be able to hear some noise from the neighbors in the apartment next door. Quiet hours are from 10PM - 8AM every day. We love the 11' tall ceilings in the living and bedroom and the original stained bead board in the bathroom. This house is about 100 years old and has loads of character throughout with original heart pine floors, fireplaces and large windows. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook at the property manager and check out our website. Everything - kitchenette, laundry, back yard, private driveway, living room, bathroom, bedroom. We live a few blocks away from the apartment and can usually address any issues in person if necessary. A call or text is also encouraged and welcome if any questions arise. Earlewood Park is a fabulous historic and trendy neighborhood in downtown Columbia. We are located within a few miles of all downtown districts, major highways, the University of South Carolina and hospitals. The centerpiece of the neighborhood is Earlewood Park, a 66-acre urban forest within a 2 minute walk of the apartment. Earlewood is a magnet for people seeking style and diversity in downtown Columbia and attracts people who are looking for the best of many worlds – the tranquility and character of an historic neighborhood with the proximity to urban amenities. It is a century-old neighborhood of tree-lined streets and Craftsman bungalows that bubbles with the vibrancy of young professionals and new families. https://www.earlewood.org/about-earlewood/ Columbia is a car transit dominated city and Uber and Lyft are the best ways to get around the city without a vehicle. Most downtown attractions are within a 5-10 minute drive. According to Maps, this house is 2.1 from USC/Horseshoe, 7.0 miles from Ft. Jackson Visitors Center, 4.1 miles from Williams-Brice Stadium and 2.2 miles from the Columbia Metro Convention Center. This is a historic 1919 Queen Anne Style duplex home that we have renovated and painstakingly restored. Most of the rooms boast over 11' high ceilings, multiple fireplaces, exposed brick, plaster walls and gorgeous light fixtures. Permit # STRN-003934-08-2023 The other side of the duplex will probably be rented as well during your stay. There is a shared wall between the two units so please be courteous and obedient to quiet hours between 10pm - 8am every day. The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser. No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund. You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes. While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund. No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio. No illegal substances or activities on the premises. Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages. If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs. Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule. Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment. If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.
