Hotel Arena Suite

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile by a very friendly gentleman on the reception. He made our transaction flawless. We were given our instructions to our room. Once we had unpacked, we went for a drink. Everyone was so friendly we were made very welcome. We've been here 3 days and take no notice of the bad reviews re the food, the food is very nice and tasty. Which has a theme night every night. The water in the room is always hot, and the shower was like a power shower, which we loved. We have another 7 days to go and I'm so looking forward to it. Question would we come back? YES. Would I recommend it YES.

We returned for a second visit love this hotel Staff nice & friendly Ent team are great Clean rooms & pool area Buffet nice salad, meat, veg, pizza, chips, potatoes, omelette’s, smoked salmon Something for ev1 themed buffet American, Chinese, Italian Well looked after Cant wait to return next year Thanks for another wonderful experience

On the outskirts of Corralejo, Arena Suite is 15- 20 mins walk to the fantasic beach opposite the Natural Park and 15-20 mins walk to the centre of town. Lovely location for a quiet relaxing day and quiet night if wanting a good nights sleep. This is our 4th visit to Arena Suite. Its our favourite February get away. As before, everywhere is so clean. The staff are all fantastic. Cheerful and can't be anymore helpful. Room cleaned to high standard everyday. Food plentiful and tasty, different theme every night and resturant in general very clean. Again staff brilliant. The receptionists were all very cheerful and very helpful. We had a fabulous two weeks Big thank you again to you all at Arena Suite. Never been to a smallish hotel before so didn't know what to expect but we really enjoyed it. Our room faced the pool and the patio a suntrap all day. Rooms and even bathroom so big. WiFi excellent. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Food could have more choice but breakfast by far the best. Most watered down diluted fruit juices I've ever had which I couldn't drink and really craved as don't like fizzy drinks so stuck to water. Self service around pool and restaurant which is good. Went half term and didn't appear busy. Mainly uk people staying. Entertainment guy tried his best although loves the sound of his own voice lol. The outside singers and shows were great although entertainment room too small and not enough seats. About 20 mins lovely walk via beach or streets to town with lots of shops and bars etc. Great value and would return. Definitely ask straight away for pillows as they are paper thin! Also pool snacks are all cooked fresh

Had a fantastic six days at the arena suite we was welcomed by Alex at check in ,,we was a late arrival food was left out for us if needed which was a nice start ,,the rooms are spacious and very clean with tea and coffee facilities replaced daily ,, rooms was cleaned and tided each day with daily towel change each day if needed ..if any thing could probably do with drawers but we coped ,,the restaurant we was more than happy with considering what you pay each night is a theme night Chinese..Mexican..American etc ..breakfast was pretty good and so was lunch ..there was always something to eat the staff in the restaurant are all amazing ,,the pools are small but so is the hotel ,,the hotel I believes was at maximum capacity and we never struggled for a sun bed the pool bar drinks was good they obviously did the job for me 🥴and staff also amazing there wished I could name you all ..the day time entertainment with jan was a blast that guys fantastic made our holiday and would return just to have the crack with him he got everyone involved and gave us so much fun …night time entertainment not the worst there was actually quite a good few nights with singers who was excellent the soul sisters rocked the place ,,couple of dodgy nights quiz night etc a bit boring but it’s what you make of it and we did the bar at night is more fit for an air raid shelter realy dated and small not always enough seating it looks like it’s never been touched since the 80s dingy they realy should take the false wall down at the back and extend and refresh the place but once you’ve got over the shock of the room ya don’t seem to mined unless ya can’t get seated but otherwise good drinks and great staff ,,if I was to change anything it would be a certificate for the games instead of a cocktail just to prove that I was the best 😂considering what you pay for this place I would definitely return

I think this place is a bit like marmite, you love it or hate it. Unfortunately we were the latter. We booked after reading all the rave reviews but it wasn’t for us. On arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff and as I am in a wheelchair we were helped with our luggage to our rooms. First impressions the room seemed very nice, light airy and a good size, tea & coffee making facilities and 2 small double beds pushed together which were probably too big for the room as we had to move furniture slightly to get into bed. Unfortunately there was NO storage space at all, not a single drawer, just a double wardrobe. In the bathroom there wasn’t a hook or a shelf, nowhere to hang towels or clothes when undressing. The room was not cleaned particularly well either, if at all. We had horrible soap scum in our shower for the 2 weeks. There were tissues in the room on arrival which I’d used after 2 days but they weren’t replenished. Soap dispensers were empty for our whole stay. Beds were made and clean towels left but that’s about it. Maybe a bottle of water in the room would have been nice also. We asked for a room in a central location because of my mobility issues which we did get. The restaurant was 100mtrs and the pool and pool bar 50mtrs. The pool area was ok, enough sunbeds while we were there but I can imagine would be chaos when the hotel is full. 2 pools one heated one not, both 5/6ft deep and an excuse for a jacuzzi containing freezing cold water. If you have mobility issues as I do you will struggle using the pools as the only way in is down ladder steps. I only used the pool twice as it was a real issue getting in and out. The pool bar was nice enough, usual self serve drinks, pastries, ice cream and food cooked to order, burgers pizza etc. We took our own tumblers for use around the pool. The other issue I had was getting into the restaurant, you either had a very steep ramp or steps. Fortunately we were travelling with friends so both my husband and our friend managed between them to push me up the steep ramp. The restaurant was’ok’ but there wasn’t a lot of choice, the salad bar was particularly poor. Breakfasts were the normal sausages, bacon, eggs, pastries and croissants. At lunch & dinner you could enjoy grilled chicken, pizza, burgers, old chefs clothes (yes really) or beef stew with prunes! You could also have tepid soup. There were different themes each evening but we gave up and ate out quite a few times. You can get a taxi into correlejo for 6/7€ And if you do visit on Friday or Saturday evening do visit music square at the end of the *****, it’s in the old town and well worth a visit. You’re probably better off going out as the entertainment venue at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Think of a run down scout hut and you won’t be far wrong, it’s also the only place you can get an allinc drink after 6.30! It’s needs serious money spent on it. Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Very clean rooms and would recommend. The only problem was if you go with Tui, they dont drop off at the door, they stop round the corner at another hotel which means you have to lug your cases down to the arena suite hotel.

Great friendly hotel. All very clean. The Staff work hard and are all very friendly. The hotel is not far from the beach and the shops and some lovely bars. Lovely pool bar. Food is all yummy . There is something for anyone. Rens who deals with the entertainment is really friendly and funny and is great for the hotel. Will be going back.

Second visit to the hotel for a quick 4 night break in the sun. Food and drinks very good, hotel very clean, staff very good, friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good time. One main issue we had was our rooms (room 101 and 102) these rooms are right next to the restaurant and main entrance for deliveries/ bin collection etc. woken every morning at 4.30am when staff arrive to start breakfast, dustcarts turning up and then service lifts going up and down. Very dark and dingy rooms also. Would not return unfortunately unless we were guaranteed not to get those rooms.
