Hotel confortable, habitación y baño grande. Cama muy cómoda, tele grande con canales internacionales, nevera dentro de la habitación. Terraza ideal con vistas a la piscina.

Hotel em geral com bom serviço mas com os seguintes pontos a melhorar: elevador avariado, peq almoço buffet um pouco caro 9,50€/pax, falta tomadas duplas nos quartos ao lado da cama para carregador de smartfones, quartos precisam de upgrade para os requisitos actuais e faltam uns pequenos sofás confortáveis nos quartos.

Confortável e limpo

Very nice location for a relaxing break. Hotel was very clean, staff were great especially Andre (hope that’s correct) Russian waiter so polite and helpful. Swimming pool was nice and sun beds were comfortable. Nice restaurant about 2 mins walk outside hotel and the lake was only a 10 min walk through the forest. Had a lovely time only negative was we didn’t like the pillows in the room.

This is a very good hotel, ideal for a weekend break and especially if you want to be near to the beautiful Guardiana river. We travelled up the Portuguese side and visited Mertola which was, to be honest, a bit underwhelming but as the road gave way to the Alentejo countryside, appreciation was lifted. The hotel was easy to locate, impressive even in the mist and gentle rain and we felt instantly that it wa a good choice. The reception was warm and friendly and our room was substantial with all facilities, very clean and well prepared and had a lovely view over the swimming pool. The observatory was under modification; the games room in the Library was good to have even though it was quite cold. We did arrive on a Sunday night - the restaurant was open with an understandably limited menu. One of us is a no-fish vegetarian and so it is our fault that there was nothing we could sit down to and we could find nothing open in the village. But it was our fault. Should have rung ahead. We would happily visit again. Breakfast was extensive and good but, other than pancakes, nothing hot.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Alentejo Star Hotel last week. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds. Air con worked very well and it was needed as the temp was 34 degrees ! The pool area is vey pleasant and towels provided. The bar and restaurant were fabulous .Lots of places to sit and the outside terrace was a great spot in the evening. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially ‘Bob’ in the bar. Such a nice man. In the town the remains of the old mine were really interesting and the swimming lake was a great place to cool down. Will definitely be back

Visitamos o restaurante e toda a equipa de atendimento era muito simpática, especialmente o David Fidalgo que nos atendeu e para além de muito profissional, foi sempre super atencioso e bem disposto durante todo o atendimento. Foi uma experiência incrível.

Quarto espaçoso, com boa varanda. Bom jardim, com redes de baloiço, piscina muito boa e agradável. Pequeno almoço e jantar com muita qualidade. O hotel, por dentro é lindo e carregado de história que vale a pena conhecer. Sossegado e acolhedor

Tudo excelente! Apenas a Internet não funciona bem e encontrámos alguns cabelos na parede do nosso duche. No entanto, tudo o resto espetacular! Adorámos conhecer todo o staff e fomos super bem recebidos e acolhidos! Excelente experiência!

Nous avons séjourné une nuit seulement car nous visitions Mértola. Grand parking, grand hôtel ancienne mine, piscine agréable et service comme bar impeccable. Cela respire la tranquillité. Nous pensons a revenir plus longtemps et mieux profiter des installations

Expectativas superadas! Hotel muito mais confortável do que aparenta nas fotos da internet. Staff muito simpático e prestável. Muito atento. Quartos com boa insonorização, e cortinas tapa-luz. Excelente localização. Definitivamente a ponderar em regressar

Fue una experiencia muy agradable. Quisiera agradecer la atención de Patricia de reservas, por resolver los problemas que tuvimos con la reserva además de gestionar un problema con el observatorio. Muchas gracias por su gestión. También quiero agradecer a Luis de recepción, por su amabilidad y enseñarnos el observatorio. Por otro lado, Andres (maitre ruso) del restaurante por atendernos tan bien en las cenas que tuvimos. Un magnífico hotel, para pasar unos días de relax viendo las estrellas.
