Hotel Vista del Mar

I left Cozumel today after spending 6 nights at Vista Del Mar. What stands out most to me is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly and kind! Each morning they brought me coffee and sweet rolls at a time I previously designated, even at 5:45 one morning. It felt like they could not do enough for me. I had two VERY heavy suitcases, and the owner (I think he was the owner) carried them up the stairs when I got there and then back down today. They are putting in an elevator, but it is not finished yet. The second most important thing to me is good air conditioning, and my room was amazingly cool! I like to sleep with a blanket for the weight, so I need to be able to turn down the A/C to be comfortable. I was in heaven. When I would come in from the hot sun, this room was nice! Nice, clean towels were provided everyday. The housekeeping staff is terrific. To be sure this is not the Ritz, but it is clean, comfortable, provides coffee, and I felt very safe the whole time. It is iocated in the touristy area of Cozumel, but it is a short walk to restaurants with some of the best food I have ever eaten. If you want to be in the middle of everything while knowing you are safe and will be comfortable, give Vista Del Mar a try. I highly recommend it!

This is a budget friendly hotel on the main street close to the ferry. Beds are comfortable, ac worked well and the staff are very nice. We did not have an ocean view room which is fine since we had a quiet back room. We were pleasantly surprised to have coffee and croissants delivered to our room the following morning. They allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel all day while we went to the beach.

When we arrived we were greeted by Coral who was lovely and helpful for our entire stay there. The rooms are beautiful and the balcony with the harbour view is Instagram worthy. Everything was excellent, this was probably the best shower and room we had in our entire trip in mexico. We got free coffee and croissants in the morning and we even got extra towels to use by the pool. We loved everyone who works there Coral, Tanya and the guy (I forgot his name, sorry). If we ever needed anything there was always someone there to help, we gave them our laundry and they also organised our dive trips for us. We did alot of diving there and everything was awesome. Love that manager Aaron got back to us before arriving to offer direct rate better than on *********** AND ocean view. Sorry they seemed not able or willing to offer King bed and that the safe had been painted shut, requiring we take our valuables w/ us our 1st dive whilst they worked at making safe operable. Coffee and croissants, while okay for maybe 2 nights, got 'old'. That, lukewarm showers, walking up 4 floors ALL had husband eager to change hotels. IF you want great VIEWS at a wonderful rate, w/ pleasant and accomodating staff, THIS is a very good lodging choice.

Nuestra estancia fue buena, la recepción fue rápida y muy amables, el hotel está antiguo, le falta una remodelación. Nuestro habitación estába limpia con colchones y almohadas cómodas, el balcón con una hamaca vieja y rota, el aire acondicionado bien, el café de la mañana bueno con los panecitos y el jugo, y muy puntuales para llevarlo. La alberca la disfrutamos, limpia, buena temperatura,siempre estubimos solos y nos relajabamos después de llegar de los tour. Apresar de tener habitación con balcon hacia el malecón no se sentía el ruido.
