Great location to explore the area nearby. The hotel looked fairly clean. There is no noise coming from the main road. The quality of the breakfast food is average, but even if it was a breakfast buffet, it was nice to get table service from the restaurant staff.

Amazing service at reception. Had a slight issue with the room booked through Trip.com, so the hotel provided free breakfast as a bonus (breakfast buffet was fantastic!). Room was clean and comfortable, but very difficult to hold a WiFi connection in the room (had to stand in the bathroom to get any usable WiFi). Had a good stay and would recommend to other West Highland Way walkers looking to treat themselves to a hotel stay on the way.

As I entered my room, I noticed that the waste bin was full and obviously had forgotten to be emptied, but this was remedied very quickly

The room was large and clean and the front desk reception was pleasant and helpful. The hotel lounge and dining areas were large and bright. The decor was drab and dated with extensive use of ugly carpet and wallpaper everywhere. The bizarre shower mixing valve arrangement resulted in the bath tub filling up very fast when taking a shower. The pivoting glass shower door/deflector arrangement made it difficult to impossible to keep shower spray from ending up on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door had no proper handle/latch/lock for privacy and was only held closed with a magnet. Finding parking was a horror story. All regular spots were taken and what was left was utter chaos. Everyone else had just improvised and parked wherever they could find a spot along the drive, on the grass etc... Wi-Fi did not work throughout the ENTIRE stay. The reception staff indicated that the router was likely "overloaded". They reset the router but it didn't help. There were no physical LAN drops in the room either. We paid 20 pounds for a breakfast that was at first non-existent (buffet style - almost empty to empty warmers). When we entered the dining area there were few people but many...most tables covered with dirty dishes, cutlery etc...After an extended wait food trickled out. In the mean time we had to search for the coffee (INSTANT coffee made en-masse). The actual food offerings were ok once they appeared but many items were reheated pre-packaged items and there were almost no heathy (fruit, plain yogurt etc...) options.

An amazing memorable stay at this hotel. The staff were so kind and friendly, We stayed in an executive room which was berth modern and as always the beds here were so comfy: The rooms are very well equipped and we were accommodating by rioda on reception she’s was so nice and so happy to help. The girl neena in the dining room was smiling and so happy to help, she made our stay that extra special too it was my mums birthday and she kindly brought out a cake with happy birthday written in the plate such a nice gesture. This was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel stayed a few times previously and will definately return in the near future. The food in the dining room was amazing i recommend the chicken dish !! Thanks so much to all staff here as this was a memorable stay.

Very dated hotel with some poor electrical items in the room, the wall heater looked ancient as did the heated towel rail. The whole room was dull and unappealing. The lifts are not adequate for the numbers that can stay there, you wait for ages. As for food we went to the Tyndrum Inn for dinner (very good) and breakfast was okay but huge numbers all at once as coach parties aimed for early getaways.

Checked in early at no charge. Staff helpful throughout my stay. Complimentary upgrade to a double. Large room with bags of hot water and a bath tub. It was very clean and I could control the heating. Great location for the West Highland Way. Breakfast was a buffet eat as much as you like. Very good.

Hiking the West Highland Way day 4 we were desperate for a comfy bed. We needed some additional help and Amir was really great! It took him just a few seconds to think of a creative solution to our unique problem. The restaurant staff was also great! Very nice and accommodating. We had dessert that night and breakfast the next morning was greater than we expected.

Past its heyday but stay was perfectly adequate. Hótel was probably grand in its day but now mostly catering for bus loads of tourists. I was happy enough with my chicken jalfreidi but my friend was disappointed with her fish which she felt was reheated and ordinary. Terrific service from DonDon at the bar and Neena our waitress.

I stayed two nights and had a terrible experience because I was bitten by bed bugs which caused itching first around my neck, later developed into numerous red rashes extending from my neck to almost my entire body. This itching caused significant discomfort, especially at night, severely disturbing my sleep and rest. The physical and mental discomfort made me feel exhausted and ruined my experience for the rest of my tour in Scotland.

This is our third visit and we stayed for 1 night whilst doing the west highland way. The room we had has recently been updated and an improvement on previous visits. We did not eat in the hotel, the bar area seems to also be improved. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, We would stay here again if in the area

Stayed at this hotel from 16-18th August 2024. Parking was easy and plenty of space. When we arrived the person at the reception, Amir, was very welcoming and hospitable. He really made us feel Welcome and was very efficient and getting us booked in and settled. He was very quick to answer our questions and also gave us guidance on the best way to get to Ben Nevis the following morning. Amir was very attentive And made us stay even better than what it was. We unfortunately had an accident on the day of the hike and when we got back to the hotel, Amir was very helpful in helping us locate the best way to get to Inverness hospital and also helped us when we were speaking to the hospital. All in all a very good trip made even better by the services of Amir. He is an asset to this group of hotels.

Shocking stay. They allowed a delivery driver to offload his deliveries from his lorry outside my room window at 6am. Clattering and banging for an hour. Went down to the reception to complain and the person on said it was “an emergency”. What kind of “emergency” requires them to clatter and bang at that time of the morning right outside the bedroom windows.
