Sheikh Ali Dahab Resort

This really is a great hotel. The rooms are large and attractively decorated, the kettle and fridge. The pool is spotlessly clean and the area around it has nice planting. I ate lunch a few times and the food was good. Eggs, omelet, fruit, etc for breakfast. Location was convenient for the town and sea front. Use the ally at the back of the pool area for a short cut. The massage available was one of the best I’ve had. The only down side was that wifi in the room wasn’t great but I used a local sim from the vodaphone shop so it didn’t matter.

Stay 5 days at Sheikh Ali Hotel. Located close to the main area and shops in Dahab. Perfect stay if you want some quiet and more relaxing place. Facilities are very clean and well look after. The staff is very attentive and polite. Morever, try the kitchen at the hotel, food is tasty if you want to try some egyptian food. Definetly I recommend staying in this hotel.

Me and my partner Rob are returning for a second year to this hotel and we will definitely be back next year. The staff is amazing, friendly and make us feel happy and at home. Perfect place to rest and enjoy the best food in Dahab after a dive. The hotel is a total recomendation 🙌

We had a fabulous week at Sheikh Ali. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are huge, very clean and comfortable. The fresh breakfast was a highlight and served on the beautiful terrace. The pool area was lovely and the kids spent many happy hours there. The location is very peaceful but close to all that Dahab has to offer (snorkelling/diving/lovely restaurants/camel rides/horse riding, the list goes on). We will definitely be back! An Exceptional Stay at Sheikh Ali Dahab! This is truly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Dahab – spotless, peaceful, and full of charm. The place is beautifully maintained, always smells fresh, the pool is clean and inviting, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need. But what really makes this hotel special is the amazing staff! Mr. Karim and Mr. Sherif are absolutely wonderful – always smiling, ready to help with anything, and genuinely care about every guest. You can truly feel that everything they do comes straight from the heart. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm and family-like – it doesn’t feel like a regular hotel, but more like visiting good friends who welcome you with love and sincerity. Everyone there makes you feel at home and truly appreciated, which is something rare to find. Our stay was perfect in every way – calm atmosphere, personal attention, and top-level cleanliness. We’ll definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real, relaxing getaway in the heart of Dahab. 💙🌴

This is the third time we have visited Sheikh Ali and it gets better and better! The rooms are HUGE! We are a family of three and the sofa bed for my tall 15 year old is the biggest we have seen. The main bedroom has the biggest bed ever, at least super king size and so comfortable, These are not just hotel rooms, they are suites, with a dressing area in addition to the two separate sleeping areas. There are also family suites, giving even more space. The hotel is steps away from the main area, however is quiet and peaceful. The noticeable improvements, since our last trip, are the food and the Wi-Fi. The breakfast is outstanding with so many fresh choices, my favourite was the omelette followed by pancakes. We also ate lunch a few times and everything was tasty and fresh, all sourced from the hotels own organic farm - the only one in the area. A new addition is the bar area, a lovely area to relax and enjoy a drink in. The massage facilities are also amazing. The improvement in the Wi-Fi was welcomed, I had to work during the holiday and having great internet was key to me being able to do this. What really sets this hotel apart, is the service. Many of the staff have been here since the hotel opened, that speaks volumes. They are incredibly helpful, in fact the best I have ever encountered. A few examples, my son was unwell and they brought him a herbal remedy and then later breakfast to the room as he had missed it, we didn’t ask for this, it just happened! I asked for barber recommendations for my son & husband, before I knew it, appointments were booked and they were transported there - where else would you get that? Another guest was having to go out and the staff gave her an Egyptian SIM card so she could stay in touch with her driver, there are countless examples, way too many to mention. If you are looking for a 5* All Inclusive, then this is not for you, it offers personal service, great rooms and amazing hospitality. Dahab itself is charming, a wonderful relaxed seaside resort, renowned for diving and snorkelling. There are plenty of shops, restaurants etc. and the stereotype that you get hassled in Egypt, most definitely does not apply here, yes the local business’ will ask if you want to look in their shop/eat in their restaurant, a simple ‘no thanks’ and they smile and wish you well. I have been visiting Dahab for over 20 years and it just gets better and better. I have a travel business and have travelled extensively, I would thoroughly recommend Sheikh Ali if you want an authentic experience where you can walk out to local restaurants and experience the wonders of this part of Egypt. I have experienced Dahab in different ways, as a standalone sunshine break, a multi centre with Cairo & Luxor and also twinned with Sharm el Sheikh. This is a wonderful destination, whether as a solo, couple of travelling with family, I have been bringing my son here since he was 5 years old.
