I had no major issues during my stay at Hotel L'Adresse , but a single incident on my last day left me genuinely disappointed. When I noticed there was no towel in my room, I called reception to request one. The receptionist informed me that housekeeping was unavailable. I asked if someone else could please bring it instead. Thirty minutes passed with no response, so I called again. She answered on speakerphone and, instead of helping, hung up on me mid call. I tried calling back more than five times. Each time, my call was deliberately disconnected. When she finally answered, I calmly pointed out the issue and was met with deflection and blame toward housekeeping. When I expressed that this wasn’t acceptable, she eventually came to my room with the towels but did so in a rude and confrontational manner. This was not just a case of a missing towel. It was the dismissive attitude, the repeated hang-ups, and the disrespect that made this interaction deeply unpleasant. It’s a shame for the hotel, because one act of poor service can undo everything else. I hope management takes this seriously and trains staff to treat guests with the basic courtesy and respect they deserve.
