California Hotel

We went to Dalat for a 2-night visit. After staying at California hotel for a few hours, we wished we could have stayed much longer. They offered many unique amenities one does not find in most hotels. The landscape, even though not yet complete in the back section, provides both comfort & a sense of peace with beautiful hanging orchids, fern, different colored roses, & many more green bushes all throughout the perimeter. We were greeted by polite & nice staff. The check-in process started with being invited to absorb a beautiful hilltop view from the inverted hat structure - a unique feature of this modern but very warm hotel. The welcome drink & homemade almond cookies recharged us after our flight & drive to the hotel. The room was very clean with the softest linen & most comfortable bed. The bathroom amenities were plentiful. For breakfast, guests could select from several options. For us, their homemade Vietnamese yogurt was top notch - it was so silky with well balanced sweetness & tartness. I must say I am particular about bun bo Hue, and theirs was so good with traditional flavor. The homemade bread- I could consume several at one sitting. It was so addicting. You could choose to dine inside or outdoors- we chose outdoors to absorb the beautiful landscape they offered. During our trip to Vietnam & our experiences staying at different hotels, our most enjoyable, comfortable, & memorable was at the California hotel. We could eat the food there over and over again. The friendly & kind staff there made us feel at home from the first moment. As we mentioned, we wished we could have stayed longer.
