Cloudz Sigiriya

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in the heart of Sri Lanka! We were among the first visiting this freshly removed retreat under new management. Our trip to Sigiriya was made perfect by the genuine hospitality and the great amenities at Cloudz Sigiriya. The setting is simply gorgeous; it’s a beautifully tranquil area that provides the peace needed to fully de-stress. We must praise the culinary team. The great chef is a hidden gem; the menu of delicious local and international food was extensive, fresh, and prepared with remarkable skill—the perfect fuel for exploring the nearby ancient sites. For relaxation, the spacious pool is huge, clean, and perfectly maintained. A showstopper was the modern design of our room's private open-air shower. It's a liberating and unique experience that showcases the attention to detail. This place is ideal for travelers seeking both peace and incredible quality.

This place is located very far out from the the main area which can be a plus for relaxing; however this also causes problems when it comes to quality of stay. WiFi connection and phone service is very poor so while staying at this place it’s impossible to get work done. Additionally, during my 3 day stay there were two instances where there was no running water. Rooms are clean. Service is average. Breakfast leaves much to be desired

We came upon this hotel our annual staff trip (16 members) Very relaxing environment and the staff is helpful, especially Mr.Indika and Ms.Sanjewani. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Manager is not friendly with customers.... Food was good but breakfasts and dinner options are not much Comfortable room. Pool was great too. Really enjoyed the stay at Cloudz. We stayed 2 nights but room service (supply water bottles, towels, cleaning) was poor on 2nd day. Also ask for the tea, this wasn’t offered to us.

Set away from the bustle, it offers a serene escape, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The amazing pool area is simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. It's the ideal spot to cool down and unwind. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed, and the highlight was absolutely the outdoor shower under the stars—a completely unique and luxurious experience I'll never forget! And the food? The great food here is phenomenal. We enjoyed incredible, fresh meals for breakfast and dinner, blending local flavors with international quality. Finally, the location is unbeatable for exploration. The hotel offers the peace of the countryside while still being incredibly close to the area's main cultural sights, including the magnificent Sigiriya Rock (Lion Rock) and Pidurangala Rock. Cloudz Sigiriya is a hidden gem that delivers luxury, tranquility, and genuine warmth. Highly, highly recommended—you won't regret booking this slice of paradise!

This was a beautiful authentic place to stay for two nights. Tharaka and Isira were amazingly kind and did everything they could to make our stay as special as possible. Their cooking was delicious!! Their kindness and their professionalism to look after us really touched us! Thank you so much for that beautiful Sri Lanka experience. 🙏
