Terrible. This ‘hotel’ is In a residential house.
Dirty and broken wall and floor. No lift.
Also you can see cockroach on the floor.

This is the best hotel that I was stayed in Sydney, very beautiful and elegance , and special thanks to Omar , he is really helpful and make everything smoothly , strongly recommend.

It was only for a night of sleep in. So overall was okay. Reception and check in hour is limited, but left our luggage at reception. Room size and bathroom was moderate. But served our purpose. Though didn't use the cabinets, found dirty socks in one of the drawers!

Terrible staff! I did late check out at 1 pm. Kept knocking my door, finally the receptionist knocked the door, his face looked like very mad and kicked me out said it’s over! Another guest is checking in in 10 minutes!! I looked at my watch it was five minutes past one!!
Also really smelly room, it seemed like no one has stayed for ages.
No recommended!!

The overall experience was good. Saw other reviews about artificial smell and mould but did not see them during the stay. A nice place that has historical vibes.
Good location, easy to go city centre.
Cafes and restaurants nearby. Drive further down a bit will have free onstreet parking for overnight.

Poor Service. Staff insisted i deposit 100 dollars in cash or credit card. I explained I have neither.
Staff then angrilly assigned me to a ghetto(the designated **** room check in counters assign to guest they dislike) probably because I did not deposit any money.

Wow. Where to start. We rang at about 5pm to ask about parking and were told there was one spot left. We said we were getting fuel and would call back when we were at he property. However, when we did, we were told the one available space was gone and no, they could not tell us where other parking was but that we could park on the street. All the parking in the surrounding streets is one hour so eventually we ended up parking at Moore Park 1.5km walk away. We decided to go straight to our event and so rang to arrange a late check in or see if the key could be left. We rang over 20 times in the following hour to try and arrange access but the phone was not answered (yes, 20 times). Obviously reception closed at 5pm not 9pm as pr the website. We found the night clerk number and was told it was going to cost an extra $30 for late check in. I said we'd be there after 11. We got a text at 11:30 saying the clerk would not wait for us - we rang and explained where we were and that we were trying to get back but we would be 20 mins but he said he'd only wait another 10 minutes. We got to the hotel rang the bell and the surly attendant handed us the key without saying anything and walked out the front door. Walking up threadbare carpeted stairs we got to our room. Though it was neat and tidy and the stench of mould was beyond disgusting and made it hard to sleep. The bathroom had cracked tiles that had been surfaced siliconed, the bin looked like to had gone two rounds with Mike Tyson and the exhaust fan was so caked with dust it looked like a fire hazard. We decided not to use the shower and left at 9am. Interestingly reception, which opened at 9, was not open. This is a beautiful property and in the hands of people who give a xxxx it would be lovely, however, the service and lack of repairs/maintenance, and lack of parking make this a place to avoid. Cost for room on *********** $180. Late check in $30. Parking on site (if you can get it) $25. Overnight Parking at Moore Park $30. Avoid!

We stayed here with our parents for a long weekend. Very special accomodation. A little dated and it could do with a little love. Just some small renovations like painting. But it was spotless. The staff so friendly. The location in Sydney perfect for someone wanting to take in the sights. I’d definitely stay here again.

I stayed one night at The Manor House Hotel and it was an unpleasant stay that nearly ruined my planned break in Sydney. We booked a room at the Manor House Hotel and the heater in the room was not working. We informed the reception and the lady on duty came to check it to turn it on. The AC/ Inverter was faulty and never warmed the cold room! We called the service numbers available at reception and were told to wait until the next day. We checked out the next day and never received a call from the hotel. Poor management! Poor service! Very unsatisfied guest experience! We will never set food there again and so won’t our friends! I expect a refund of my stay because it is not worth it!!!!

Not a nice experience. Room smelt of either cat urine or something pungent. Bed was very uncomfortable and literally base and mattress on the floor. No hot water in shower at 3am and parking offsite does not open before 7am which they did not advise me of. Front room is noisy and curtains let a lot of street light in. Staff nice but room only “just acceptable” for a 1 night crash if needed.
