Crane's Beach House Boutique Hotel & Luxury Villas

Still the best place to stay in Delray. One block from beach. The rooms are very nice. The rooms have Robles and beach chairs. All the rooms have also been redone. Staff is excellent and attentive. They have two pools they use to have continental breakfast but l believe it was a victim of the pandemic. Still you can’t go wrong staying here. They also have quiet hours in the evening. Enjoy!

- [ ] We were in Florida to visit my Dad. He died the first day that were were there. I called the hotel from the hospital and told them that we would arrive very late and that my father died and we would not be able to stay for the four night that we booked. The person that answered the phone was compassionate and said that he understood and of course we would only be charged for the nights that we stayed. I had explained that the funeral was in NY and we would have to get back. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and there was no parking spots available. We had to park on a very dark side street and walk back to the hotel with our bags. The next morning I went to see the person in the office. I once again explained the circumstances and he said that there was a no cancellation policy. Although I certainly understood the policy I explained to difficult circumstances and asked if they could make some sort of accommodation. He said that the circumstances were not the fault of the hotel and we would have to pay for all 4 nights. I asked to speak to the owner but was told she only accepts emails. I sent her an email explaining the circumstances and she never wrote back. The clerk told me later that he checked with her and there w out old be no accommodation despite the death of my father. We paid for all 4 nights. The room was just as bad. The air conditioner was extremely loud. They have glasses and plates in the room but if you Donny wash them you are charged a washing fee. There was no dishwasher and no dish soap or sponge. There was also a loud left blower outside very early in the morning. I have never written a bad review but this hotel was cruel. It was so overpriced for a hotel on dark side street with insufficient parking and a small subpar room. I would avoid at all costs. Finally my sister stayed at the Colony. The staff and accommodations were wonderful.

I think this is a very romantic place and you are like in a jungle but within a block of downtown Atlantic Avenue where you can walk yourself or take a free trolley. You are a block from the beach and you can have a drink or a burger at Sandbar Tiki Hut within a block to the beach. The room is super clean and comfortable and the shower is nice with a bowl for the sink ! No strange smells at all and a full kitchen but not all have dishwasher but they will wash dishes for you for $10 a day. Nice TV in bedroom and living room in the one bedroom (king) suite unless you are in a studio where your queen bed is in one room. Studios are also lovely and the price is right. They have two pools in this complex and a nice relaxing area with couches and a hammock outside with benches and tables with umbrellas everywhere. Very romantic ! Not very many rooms but the people that work here are SUPER nice and I have been going for years. No food here except your room will have wine, champagne, candles, candy, beer and all kinds of snacks and even some frozen snacks that you can buy individually. You will get two free bottles of water ! The LOCATION is everything. Please stay here and you will have a lovely time ! The pool water temperature in November was like bath water ! One of the pools has a changing station. The one bedroom suite comes with two beach chairs and a bathrobe and a safe. You can walk to the Drift Restaurant at the Opal Resort (delicious!) or have breakfast or dinner at Cafe Luna Rosa or dinner at Bostons for a very easy walk. The beach is an easy walk. The office will help you with anything ! Atlantic Avenue has every kind of restaurant and even an Arcade for the kids. There will be concerts and they have a 100 foot Christmas tree that kids will love ! Enjoy !

We stayed here the week before Labor Day weekend and found this resort to be a wonderful experience all around. We stayed in a luxury villa suite and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pullout couch was very comfortable for my teenage son. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this resort.

The nicest, cleanest, and most wonderful place to stay in Delray! Amazing staff ! Overly accommodating ! Just steps from everything, they leave nothing out, providing water beach chairs just to name a few it’s truly a wonderful hidden gem and little oasis

In short, this is one the best examples of pure excellence when it comes to getting it just right. My friend booked a one night stay here for us on the last night of my trip to Florida as a surprise for me. He actually couldn’t have chosen a better place. This place is an oasis of calm, quiet, glitz and glamour and total paradise, within a stones throw of everything that Delrey Beach has to offer. Reception were friendly and welcoming and personally showed us to our apartment. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so well equipped and so comfortable. Beautiful decor. Modern furniture. Super comfortable, super clean bed. Well stocked bathroom. Kitchen with all the appliances you could need. Lovely Ice cold and quiet AC. The balcony was really nice and private and both pool areas were charming. I simply cannot recommend this place enough. I wish I could give it 6 stars instead of 5! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
