The Westin Denver Downtown

The Westin is always fantastic. Great location very clean very nice staff always a great place to stay. Only downside is valet parking is too expensive but worth it. New Year’s Eve was fantastic fireworks right outside our hotel room.

Completed early check in yet still had to wait in line for 25 minutes to check in. Not sure why I bothered as our experience was no different from anyone else. Westin policy is to close all bars at 11:30, even on NYE downtown, which was disappointing. Nice property, would consider staying again.

The area was great, but the lack of a good restaurant in the hotel itself was a drawback to staying here.

They charge a $25 "Destination Fee" per night's stay, which essentially requires you to eat or drink at the hotel bar lounge. Allegedly, that fee gives you a $25 credit towards your tab; however, they did not do so. Worse yet, I was charged for a tab that wasn't mine. Now more than a week later, I am still working with hotel staff to resolve these errors.

Great location, very comfortable & spacious room, staff excellent for the most part. BUT, the room service leaves slot to be desired. For a four star hotel to serve me meals on cardboard with plastic utensils falls WAY short of the mark. This more like GrubHob or Door dash level of service, and wholly shameful to the Westin brand :-/

The Westin in Downtown Denver has jumped to the top of my favorite downtown hotels. Spacious room with plenty of lighting and plug-ins for all your techy stuff. Best pillows on the planet! Tons of perks. Much fun had at the bar with 2 of the best bartenders ever

The Westin's Denver downtown location is perfect. Walkable to 16th St Mall (if they ever get it done), LoDo, many wonderful restaurants. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable. Lighting and access to plug-ins better than some of the other places we have stayed. Had a great time with 2 GREAT bartenders at V's to celebrate hubby's birthday

Stayed for 3 nights during a family vacation over the weekend before Thanksgiving. The hotel's facade was cordoned off due to construction. It happens, but stepping around scaffolding isn't a great first impression, and forces you to walk up via the driveway instead of via the sidewalk. The hotel front desk, main bar, and associated meeting space that I saw was okay, and didn't wow me. Only had one soup available at the restaurant and was a tasteless asparagus something or other. Great location near the 16th Street Mall, so no complaints there, but was bummed to see the entire mall under major construction and being closed off to foot traffic. Not the hotel's fault, but the following was: 1. The rooms themselves. The front door stuck, the rooms run hot, and the adjoining door to the next suite allowed us to hear full, normal conversation from the family staying there. Got woken up at 6am by it. Zero privacy for either of us, obviously. DO NOT get a suite unless you want every sound and word heard by your neighbors. 2. The attached parking garage is actually privately run and is public. The EV chargers were offline, forcing me to run around the city looking for a charging station for our EV rental car. The front desk clerk refused to credit my parking fee. 3. Was granted a late check out, but when they reset our key cards, they didn't work. Took 20 minutes to get into our room after multiple attempts. Asked for the GM's name but got stonewalled until I insisted getting it.

Hotel was immaculate. Bar service at night on Sunday was horrible, but the lunch service was great!!
