Via Suites

Such a lovely stay at an affordable price! Very clean in all areas from the reception to our room and for the parking. Staff were friendly and service was great also. Easy to find and accessible to two metro stops by foot around 5-10 minute walk. Our room was spacious and had lovely amenities like a mini kitchenette. Would 10000% recommend a stay here to anyone and everyone

First the room is ok. (Reasonable kitchenette, uncomfortable bed, leaky shower) That would be three stars, possibly four. Reception is completely chaotic and could easily be so much better. Online check in doesn't seem to save any time, and queues are long. Offered online check out only to be told by the app I had to go to reception to check out... Who when I got to the front of the line simply said I was good to go. Value poor - there are better places for less. Convenient for Metro and sprinter services to Schiphol.

The room had nice facilities, it was cleaned regularly during our stay, and the extra breakfast was a nice addition. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet, and the hotel is in walking distance to two metro stations, making it easy to travel to the centre.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to a concert at Ziggo Dome and chose it for its proximity (was about a 20 minute walk).  We stayed in a deluxe suite, which was spacious, really clean, and had everything we needed. Towels, hairdryer, shower gel and coffee/tea provided, which was very welcome. It is located less than a 10 minute walk from Diemen Zuid Station which has a direct train from the airport. The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful, really welcoming.  Even though the hotel is around 30 minutes from Amsterdam central (by metro), we would definately stay here again. We were a bit dubious before arriving that we would be out of place given it is a hostel too, but we needn't have worried.  The friendly atmosphere made these mid forties women very comfortable. The room was nice and just what I needed for one night, at what seemed like a reasonable cost compared to other places in Amsterdam. The property is weird, with the "Suites" in a disconnected side building away from the main place, which is a very large, busy hostel staffed with hostel-y people. There is apparently nothing to do in the area. It is a 10 minute walk from the Diemen Zuid station which has an NS train line and a metro line. About 20 minutes to Centraal Station so give yourself time for the walk, waiting for the metro, and the actual metro ride. Staff should tell people staying in the hostel to close their curtains, since when I looked out my window which faced the main hostel there were many half-dressed people in pretty good view. Staff should also explain in their welcome email that the train from Schiphol Airport on Platform 3 is an NS train and uses a different ticketing system from the Amsterdam Metro. I ended up needing to download an app to buy an NS ticket with help from the train conductor when my 72 hour GVB ticket didn't work.

I stayed in the Via Suites for two nights for a business trip, and I would highly recommend it and would also happily stay again. The suites were spacious and light, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable so I slept very well. There was a good atmosphere in the main building and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast continental buffet option was good value and provided everything I needed to start my day. Good location for the centre of the city too, and a direct train from the airport.

Nice deluxe suite, everything available to have a relaxt stay. Coffee machine, water cooker, cutterly and even a dishwasher. It is not long to the city center, restaurants are also nearby. This was our 3rd stay, we definitely come back again.

I had a really good stay at Via Suites. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the pillows. They are unfortunately just too hard and stuffed for me, so that the neck is uncomfortably inclined throughout the night. In my case, this resulted in a painful stiff neck for a few days. Many hotels are offering two pillows: a thicker and a thinner one, so the guest can choose his or her preference. Apart of this: excellent stay.

Absolutely loved staying here was very worried how it would turn out as I have a 7month old baby and it was our first time travelling with her but VIA suites was perfect they had the comfiest bedrooms nice and clean even gave me a cot they have micro coffee machine, kettle dishwasher and fridge. They have the nicest cinema room you can book free of charge and the location is perfect there is a affordable super market right behind us at 6min walk McDonald’s 9mins and trams & metros going in to central from right outside hotel. The staff are amazing and will go over and beyond to make your stay here amazing. Will be returning and booking VIA again!
