The number of issues with this hotel were so numerous that is hard to remember them all. It started with putting a request on my reservation to please not use any air freshener or other strongly scented products. I walked into the room that we were assigned and the stench of a strongly scented floral air freshener was overpowering. I went down to ask for another room. The next one wasn’t as freshly sprayed so it wasn’t as strong. I went to open a window and realized that there wasn’t a window that opened. I called down to see if there was a room that had a window that opened and was advised that all rooms are sealed. Then I thought that I would try the HVAC system to get some air moving, but the HVAC system spewed air that smelled strongly of mildew. Upkeep of the room was substandard. In the bathroom, the toilet had an old wooden seat that was stained and with the painted worn off on many places. The vanity had lots of peeling pain. The drain assembly on the sink was partially missing. The bedside lampshade was stained and torn. And carpets in the hallways and in the room were prominently stained. Housekeeping was not great. In our three night stay, the housekeeping staff visited once. However, they neglected to clean the toilet. The ceiling light fixture had a large collection of dead bugs in it. The elevator had the same greasy dirt on the floor the entire time we were there. On the plus side, the breakfast service was nice enough and the food was presented well and the area was kept clean there. After my first night there, I found the customer service section on the corporate website and I left as detailed a comment as could fit into the 750 character limit. It said that I would be receiving a response in 72 hours. It’s been about 2 weeks and I have yet to receive a response. Upon checking out, the front desk person wanted to know how was our stay. I briefly told her it wasn’t good. She wanted to know more, but when she found out I had written into the corporate website, she said that their hotel would receive copy and I would receive a response. If I had spent less that $100 a night for the room, I would be more forgiving. But when spending over $700 for three nights, I expect a higher standard. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Excellent on all counts, check in a breeze assisted by polite, friendly young man who gave me info on where to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner, room was spotless, comfortable and fresh. Courtesy breakfast was perfect, tasty with adequate selections in a pleasant dining area. I really liked the walk in shower, a very nice concept. A great place to stay avoiding the hustle and bustle of Austin. We will be back for a longer stay next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel is very quiet and convenient to Dripping Springs and south Austin. Beds are comfortable, pillows are fluffy and numerous, and the breakfast is wonderful. The staff is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel - located near the multiple wedding venues, fun shopping, lots of local eateries & wineries in the area - a 20 min drive to Wimberly - the rooms are nice and clean and well stocked with toiletries (even a boot wipe!!! Nice touch!!!) Will come back k!

The bed was super comfy, breakfast delicious and the employees were OUTSTANDING!! Much credit to those folks they were great with all requests. Very clean rooms. Next time will be trying the pool!!!!!

The best part of this hotel is that you have a traffic light to pull onto 290. 290 is a busy road and having this hotel at a traffic light is to me "life saving". Plus it was the first hotel to open in Drip. FYI I was there on opening weekend.

Great front desk service. Excellent general manager way of welcoming us. I like the complimentary full hot breakfast. Clean room with Refregrator & microwave & Large TV. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sleep inn.

Stayed there Sept 21-24th. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. We were a very large party there for a wedding. Whatever we needed, they did their best to make it happen. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for a number of days and loved the room. Everything was clean and very nice. Only one thing was lacking and that was the breakfast. If you didn't get there right away, there was always very little left, and we were always up early. Some days, plenty of eggs, but hardly any bacon or sausage. It was very sporadic. We ended up picking breakfast up outside the hotel. The staff (front desk folks and head of the cleaning staff) were all so nice and helpful!
