Fairfield Inn & Suites Duluth

Hotel was very clean and in a great location. Continental breakfast was awesome as well.

Property was well maintained. Front desk employee was very personable and polite. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would probably stay here again next time I am in town.

I stay here once a month. I have stayed at 5-star, 4-star, 3-star, and no-star hotels. I give this hotel a solid 4-star. The front staff housekeeping (Leah is great! I think they do a great job. All are Megan, Tara...) They will give you that extra blanket!! Both managers are easy to talk to and help you with your needs. I think the front desk is genuinely caring, and I would like to see them take the lead and offer anyone there who needs something...to show that. I think the breakfast is excellent. However, some items, such as the bagels, could be fresher. Also, keep up with the hot items right until breakfast is over. The gym is excellent. If I stay there, I always like the upper floors because I like my blinds open to let the light in. Safe parking. It is a safe area with a mall, restaurants, and much to do in Duluth. Talking to the staff here, there are so many naturals, and some need to understand...this is your job, it is hospitality, you work at a great hotel!! Also, it's December, and there should be a Christmas tree in the lobby!!!! Christmas is HUGE! Getting some staff to help and putting that effort in has to be made for me to give this hotel. I would love to say I stay at the Fairfield in Duluth whenever I am down there, and the staff are excellent. The front desk, the managers, the housekeeping* all of them), and the workers all do a great job and have been so lovely to me. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the TV is good, wifi, a shower, and the gym its a 5-star experience. The breakfast items are great. Thank you to all of them. Everything felt new and updated. I was disappointed there was no hot tub but I knew there probably was not one when I booked it!

Check in was easy and quick. Front desk staff friendly and accommodating. Beds comfortable.

The state was good. However, when we arrived, we did not have any towels in our room. I called the front desk, and it took a while, but they finally brought them to the room. And I was disappointed in the breakfast, because I was hoping for some waffles, like I saw in the picture online when I was booking the hotel. I was not happy with the selection of breakfast food. One of the main reasons we book theirs because we enjoy waffles and we saw the picture with waffles and we were greatly disappointed when there weren’t any in the morning. However, the staff was nice in the bed was comfortable.

This was a great disappointment. The couch and one double bed had the strong smell of old urine. This was noted when I was already in bed or I would have changed rooms. Staff was very good to excellent. Very responsive and pleasant. breakfast was mediocre.

Breakfast was cold and missing items that are normally there.
