We wanted to have a quick lunch in Edam, and the restaurant in Damhotel was recommended. It turned out to be a bad choice. We had the Salad with marinated artichoke, goat cheese soufflé, tomato salsa, aceto, radish and pecans – which sounded great but was rather mediocre. It took quite a long time in coming (they told us because of the goat chees soufflé). The Toasted garlic bread was neither toasted enough nor garlicky enough. There are better places to have lunch in Edam, such as the De Fortuna.
