Nice and cosy apartment with some distance from attractions.

因為酒店安排的問題，這次被升級到他們同物業的另一家酒店，離火車站更近，服務環境方面都很不錯。

酒店就在荷里路德宮大門邊上，透過窗户就可以望見王宮尖尖的塔頂，滿滿的歷史感。房間很舒適，自己做早餐很開心。酒店到其他景點和市中心都要走二三十分鐘路，不算太方便。酒店沒有任何標誌，找起來有點費勁。沒有前台，也沒有任何服務人員，進酒店和進房間要密碼，卻沒有提前告知，一家人在街上冷風中站了好一陣。幸好攜程客服給力，及時溝通好，拿到密碼。房間在三樓，樓梯很窄，行李提上去比較吃力。這種沒有服務人員的公寓式酒店第一次住，感覺還是不太方便，包括房間一些設備設施的使用都要自己琢磨（再次表揚攜程酒店管家，遠程解決電磁爐的使用方法，非常耐心）。雖然遇到各種各樣的問題，酒店本身還是給人獨特感覺，畢竟是在蘇格蘭王宮一牆之隔的地方，早起時喝着茶看着窗外，歷史就在眼前。

這是英國之行最差的體驗，沒有之一。先説酒店，一個星期上4天班，等我們到店，無前台無人員，打電話過去説是要我去他的分部拿密碼，我就搞不明白了，你一個星期上4天班，還要客人自己去找你們，你們開雞毛酒店呀。離店的時候想行李存放一下，一樣沒人…….， 攜程，你們能不能把酒店的服務搞清楚了再上架，不要這樣害客户好不好，3晚花了我7000多，這就是你們推薦的酒店？大半夜的路上還有吸**的，我帶着孩子，出點事算誰的，我到凌晨快2點了才住上酒店，小雨嘩嘩的下，你們想過客户什麼心情麼，來句補償你幾百塊錢準備了事，差你那幾百塊了？ 第一張照片，離店的時候準備寄存一下行李，沒人 第二三張照片，大家在風中凌亂..！n

一、酒店地段：毗鄰荷里路德宮門口和卡爾頓山，出門直行幾百米就是皇家英里，步行一公里左右到維瓦利車站，基本上愛丁堡絕大部分的景點和購物都靠步行解決了，雖然小累，但可以很接地氣體驗當地風景人情， 酒店環境：小而美，周邊環境非常安靜，酒店後門有個精緻的花園，一樓就是一個很温馨的接待室，大部分情況下沒有工作人員在，住客直接推門進去，想躺沙發休息，喝咖啡、上洗手間、洗衣服烘衣服，在這裏都可以自助完成，隨意，不用拘束 房間設施：辦理入住後酒店會發個密碼給我，這個密碼是打開一樓接待室和房間通用的，出入就不用帶房卡了很方便；我們的房間在三樓，扛行李上去有點不方便，多虧酒店管理員幫忙扛上去了；房間是新裝修的，一切都很乾凈整潔，可調節室温；入門有一個小廚房，基本滿足自己做飯的需求，多虧這個廚房，解決了吃飯的難題（愛丁堡吃的選擇真的太少了）；我們這次是一家四口入住，除了房間的1.8米大床之外，客廳的沙發拉開後是一張雙人床，蠻舒服的；洗手間空間很大。窗外景緻很美，安靜愜意。 服務：酒店的管理人員Peter很親切，也很有耐心跟我們介紹酒店周邊的情況 幾個小貼士： 1、酒店距離四百米左右有個小小的華人超市（好像叫美麒麟）和一家Tasco，太讚了啊，解決了不少吃飯的問題 2、愛丁堡早晚很冷，記得帶厚衣服。 3、如果需要從愛丁堡前往倫敦（或者説需要在英國串游各個城市的話），建議提前（攜程上是提前兩天，我在淘寶是提前一天買）買火車通票，比每一程單買便宜很多啊，我們這次一家四口從愛丁堡到倫敦，在倫敦的時候去了劍橋和牛津，買了三天的通票，一共才花了不到四千塊錢（從愛丁堡單程到倫敦四個人都要三千塊了），而且通票是任何運營公司的火車任何班次都能坐，很方便。

房間裝修精緻，每天都會搞衞生，窗外對着花園的風景。服務人員也親切和藹。位置就緊靠女王宮和蘇格蘭議會，去亞瑟王座也非常近。缺點是沒有電梯，行李重的話點不方便，另外衞生間的淋浴沒有全封閉，洗澡時會濺出部分的水，不過房間供熱很好，地上的水比較快乾。

Absolutely fantastic flat! We had a bit of a snafu checking in but Grant showed up in a jiffy and couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The flat has all the amenities we wanted: refrigerator, kettle, oven, espresso machine, plus all the others expected in an hotel, and was spacious and comfortable. The light switches are a bit confusing (several turn on whenever the front door is opened, which woke up my son a couple of times) but easy enough to deal with. To the staff: more bed pillows would be lovely! The gardens in the back are lovely: peaceful, beautiful, in some places wild and in others, tidy. Really, really enjoyed walking through them and spying bees and butterflies and listening to the birds from the palace ground. The location is unreal: literally attached to Holyrood Palace grounds, across from Scottish Parliament, at the bottom of the Royal Mile, and a ten minute walk to Arthur’s Seat. Would absolutely stay here again.

We booked the apartment as we were getting married at the city chambers in Edinburgh. The location is stunning. Full of historical interest and a royal visit thrown in. Couldn't be better

clean bright modern, Such a cozy apt, I'd come back. Its a lovely walk at the end of the Royal Mile. Store, coffee, restaurants, close walking distance, bus stop and easy Uber pick up at door step. Nice views and quiet outside garden to enjoy.

Peter, the manager, could not have been more accommodating and kind. The flat was immaculate and beautiful. The building itself is historic and interesting. The area is quiet and really lovely. A gem.

Wonderful apartment, close proximity to Royal Mile but far enough away from busy, tourist section. Would definitely stay again. Parking is a little bit of a challenge but when you contact the concierge, recommended Dynamic Earth car park, only 5 mins walk.

Excellent accommodation. We had a very relaxing time. The place was spotless and the beds offered an excellent sleeping experience. The location is close to a wonderful beauty spot but you are only a foot walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
