The Panmure Arms Hotel

We just had 3 nights here. A nice welcome by David and later, a very friendly welcome in the bar and restaurant by Gregor started off the weekend very well. The twin room was warm and the beds comfortable. On our departure we were served breakfast by Susan who was extremely efficient and a delightful personality. Susan also dealt with our bill at checkout. I am sure that we will be back.

This is our 2nd visit! We stayed in a lovely room with 4 poster bed. Bed comfy, room clean, staff welcoming. Evening meal and breakfast cooked to order, good choice on menu. Cooked fresh to order, Enjoyed our meals. Staff polite and checked in with you during meals and stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Some lovely local walks! Try the blue bridge walk. Lovely hotel , we will be staying again on our next return to Scotland.

We stayed for four nights at the Panmure and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, with a newly refurbished bathroom. The housekeeping was excellent,with daily fresh white towels & tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. There was a good choice at breakfast, served by friendly, efficient staff- service with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed an excellent two course evening meal on our first night, with a lovely bottle of Merlot, for a very reasonable £64.70. We also shared a freshly made thin crust pizza,one evening which was superb. We felt that the drinks at the bar were also reasonably priced. All the staff were friendly, approachable and very happy to help. My tip would be to contact the hotel directly to get the best B&B price.

Popped in on the off chance they had a room and glad they did. Really friendly welcome by the owner ( I think) and was told we could see the room before booking. Nice bar area and choice of beers as well. The dinner menu was impressive, good value and delicious as was the breakfast with a massive choice as well. Both the lady who served our dinner and the lady at breakfast were so friendly and super efficient. We had a great one night stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much

The Panmure Arms Hotel was very good. Due to bad weather conditions we booked very last minute. We got a warm welcome. The room was very comfortable - we had an excellent nights sleep. We had a delicious meal in the bar. Breakfast - full Scottish - was very good & hearty. Excellent value.

Fantastic hotel.Staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you.The food is very good and we ate in the bar area next to the roaring fire.Breakfast is also very good.Great location and easy parking. Beds comfy.Good size rooms with comfy chairs to sit in.We just loved the feeling of the place and will be coming back.
