Tulip Inn Eindhoven Airport

Nice an clean. Good location by the airport if you are travelling.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly. Very good sound insulation.

Room are clean and good. Desk person are also good. every day cleaning. A LITTLE costly due to airport.

Use this hotel only if you have a very early flight from the airport or not even then. An unmaintained hotel with rooms where the window cannot be opened and the ventilation does not work. The temperature in the room was over 30 degrees C. I complained about the high temperature in the room and that the air conditioning was not working but they persistently refused to give me another room. The phone was also not functional. The receptionist, as well as her colleague, claimed that the temperature in all the rooms are the same (not true!). Only after I argued and stayed at the reception for more than half an hour and said that I would sleep with the room door open, because the temperature in the corridor was normal, they gave me another room where the temperature was normal and the air conditioning worked normally. Basically, expect not to sleep if you are assigned one of the "sauna rooms". My advice: avoid this hotel if possible.

This is the first time I have had such a bad experience in a hotel. We froze in the room we paid 90 euro per night. the room was very cold. They said that the hotel's heating system was broken and they did nothing. We sat in the room with our coats on. and we will probably get sick. We want a solution for this big problem we are having. I want a refund. because if I slept outside for free, I would feel less cold.

Location is perfect! You staying above airport, go down to 0 floor and you in airport. Clean room, good view from window. Only one thing no parking

Only stayed for one night to catch early flight, but was treated as if I were staying for longer. If flying from NL or BE look to staying at Tulip Inn and flying from Eindhoven.

Positive: Inside the airport, clean enough, good for one night stay for early flight. Negative: Small room for two people, sink inside the room. Ugly: The receptionist on duty created a scene when we arrived around 14.00 hrs. She had a group of guests (6-8) waiting and refused to give rooms as they were not available. She kept walking anxiously here and there, not willing to respond to the guests. And loudly saying that rooms are not available at all. She mentioned they are being cleaned and they have too many rooms to clean. So despite the booking, they can't be given to guests. I asked her how long we have to wait, she didn't know. She looked completely overwhelmed on seeing 8-10 customers and incapable to do her job. She mentioned that check in is FROM 14.00 hrs not that you can check in AT 14.00 hrs. So I opened the website and showed her that check in is 14.00 hrs for guests. And it is the customer's choice to arrive at 14.00 or 18.00 or whatever time, not the hotel's. She had no answer to the fact that she was misleading guests. But yet when one lady came, she made a room available for her. After 20-30 minutes she gave us the room. During the time she was checking us in, she continuously complained how disrespectful customers are to her. So meaning customer should put up with her incapability and her lack of service to customers. At one point I got so tired of her complaints, I asked her to kindly keep quiet. I have never asked anybody at any reception desk to keep quiet. All she had to do was apologise and politely request to wait in lobby for 30 minutes.

Very silent airport, nothing is hearing from windows. No sound of taken on/off plain. Thanks.
