Hotel Cassandra

Worst hotel i ve ever been to, and i am not picky. Dirty, ants everywhere, bath caked in dirt. 15 Euro PER DEVICE for WiFi, which doesnt even work half the time. No keetle, no fridge , barrier on balcony moving so much im scared it will fall off. Cables sticking out and exposed behind the head board of the bed, unattached sockets, half burnt socket going off the wall behind bed. Pool dirty and tiny, water from shower and sink like nose bleed. Elevator only holds 2 people and dirty, crumbs and dust on the beds from previous guests.

I have just returned from a family holiday. I read trip advisor before I went and was dreading the hotel. However it was a great hotel and good value for money. Air conditioning was free, you have to pay 50 euros for the tv remote which is returned when given back. Fresh towels every day. Room cleaned every day. Loo rolls provided. Food was good value, eggs, baked beans, cereals, fresh fruit and orange juice in the morning, evening meal good variety for kids pizza, pasta, lasagne. Spaghetti bolognaise and chicken nuggets. Plenty of variety for adults too chicken, pork, paella, only had chips once all week, provided new potatoes, jacket potatoes, potato croquettes. Bar in the hotel never opens. However their is a vending machine in the hotel and you can buy drinks at the shop next door and bring into hotel and around the pool. Bar is never open in the hotel. Pool is cleaned every day, but is only open 10.30 am to 6.30 pm. The only complaint I would make is the pool area could do with a good clean. Not many English people staying in the resort. Most of the holiday makers are german or Dutch. The pubs on the main strip cater for young Dutch people. However the Spanish bars on the side streets are very good, cheap and great for tapas. Beach is lovely, sun beds are 8 euros a day each. Would differently visit again

Hotel was clean, maid service every day we stayed. Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Bar never opened, but you are not allowed to drink alcoholic drinks in your room not purchased at the hotel. Bring your own drinks in and ask them to take the sign down until they are able to purchase drinks at the bar.

More like hostel then hotel. Close to the beach and pubs. Im only sleep there 3 night,so was fine. Small lift, for 2 People only . Very noisy. Cleanlines was horrible. Room very dirty, floor never been cleaned, so I have to wiped floor every day by my self. No toilet tisue. But if you looking for someplace only for sleep thats ok for 3-4 nights. If you want longer holls try to avoid and find something better.

The hotel has 3 stars on its door but to be honest it is more of a budget hostel than a 3-star hotel. It is cheap and cheerful- if you are looking for a luxury this is not a place for you. It was cleanish, fresh towels and sheets everyday but the place is very dated and definitely needs some TLC. Food was ok if you are not a fussy eater. We only paid for breakfast which was definitely aimed at German guests. Not sure what dinners looked like. The staff was friendly but did not speak much English- which is fair…I guess I need to learn more Spanish! The lift was a nightmare. Our room was on the 6th floor and the lift was frequently out of order. When it worked it only allowed 3 people in which was really annoying. The shower was a nightmare too. No pressure at all. On the other hand the air con in the room was great! Be prepared to pay 15 € deposit for the remote. Overall ok experience- you get what you pay for. We only used it as a base to quickly change, refresh and sleep. I don’t think I would like to stay here again though.

First I would like to say I was really worried to go to Cassandra, after reading so many reviews.Still we have decided to take a shot as price and location was what we wanted.I don't think that I was this surprised ever.Food was really good, changing everyday.We were 14 days and never got bored with food ( half board) Dinners were actually fantastic.Staff was really helpful, room was cleaned regularly.Ok cleaning staff had no English, was I disappointed? Not at all, they were all smiling and helpful. They were some minor little things,but at the end of the day...we get what we paid for. It was fab holiday in absolute prime location.THANK YOU very much to all staff at Cassandra.
