The Boathouse is a perfect getaway on Lake Martin. Don’t let the size of this 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin fool you. It has everything you need for a memorable trip. The bedroom has a king bed with luxury linens. The cozy family room has a sleeper sofa. The Boathouse can sleep 4 comfortably. The kitchen has all the favorite amenities. The dining room overlooks the lake. The covered porch is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sunset. Park your boat at the big dock or take the paddleboat out!
The Boathouse is the guest house to a bigger home. Guest have access to the yard, dock, paddleboat and boat ramp. The owner is never home, and will never bother you. About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 20 lbs per pet (limit one pet total).We are dog friendly ONLY with approval..About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:We are dog friendly ONLY with approval and dog fee. Dog must be on leash. Must clean up after they use bathroom. Never leave dog alone in house..No wake zone 100 yards from dock. Tie boat off properly. Never dive into lake. Children must be supervised at all times. Always wear lifejackets.,Please park your car/truck to the left near The Boathouse..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:No events allowed.

Great Weekend getaway
I recently stayed at this wonderful lakefront home with my son, and it was absolutely perfect. Communication with the host was seamless—clear, friendly, and responsive from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better—peaceful, beautiful views, and right on the water. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made some great memories here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Weekend away with our Auburn student
We had a beautiful weekend on the lake with our son. It’s a small cottage with beautiful front porch. Owner lives next door and allows you to use dock and paddle boats. Grill came in handy. No dishwasher but for three people not a big deal to wash dishes. Bring your own lake towels. Plenty of space to park two vehicles. Highly recommend!

Great Stay
Had a great time staying here. House is tucked back in a cove and was nice and quiet and away from major boat traffic. Close to restaurants and stores. Also had the chance to meet the homeowners, they are very friendly and accommodating making sure our stay was great

Long weekend
Nice, clean quiet & peaceful. Close to restaurants, boats.
Only minor observation was bathroom sink slow to drain.
