Erbil International Hotel

I was on vacation with my family in mid-July 2025. We had a suite (no. 520) unfortunately we had some experiences at the hotel that were not 5 star logic at all. 1) refusal from the chef to make an omelette because the kitchen closes the buffet within 10 minutes. 2) for several days we have been requesting a dessert for my daughter that is on their menu. but is not available. 3) my wife had to wait over an hour for a simple lentil soup. 4) our suite was not cleaned for 2 days, in the end we had to call the reception to have the room cleaned (even though we have pressed the cleaning button and informed housekeeping to clean the suite) This resulted in me and my family had to wait 30-40 minutes late at night for our suite to be cleaned. The next day the cleaning staff forgets to take away dirty cutlery and cups and refill the bathroom with cleaning products. 5) my little daughter of 1.5 years had to wait almost 1 hour to get warm milk before bedtime. 6) I have been asking to talk to the management for 2 days about my experience but the only answer I have received from the staff is that they are sorry that I had a bad experience and that they will move on with it. But otherwise their valet staff and security staff are extremely nice

I stayed in the hotel for a business trip, and it was one of the worst stays in erbil. The hotel had construction works all night, and I begged them many times to stop, they kept lying about it, one of the most disrespectful hotels for its guests. Eventually the receptionist called saying he s ashamed and doesn't know what to do cause the duty manager is refusing to stop the extreme loud noise of hitting on the walls. One of the worst bizarre stays I had in erbil. Other than this, the hotel is average in terms of quality of food and facilities and very overrated for the price it offers.

I stayed here for 2 x 3 night stays in February. I was very happy with the experience. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The decor of the rooms was nice and although slightly dated seemed well maintained. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom only featured a shower (handheld and a rain shower). I only used the hand held one and the pressure was excellent. I only ate at the hotel once. The price was ok by international standards (a Kebab was $15 on room service but the portion was very big). The location of the hotel is very good. Less than 10 minutes walking to the Citadel and 5 minutes walking to a street with lots of cafes / restaurants. I would certainly stay here again in Erbil.

First time in Erbil and chose this hotel for central location. Upon arrival at 5am we were greeted by friendly receptionist who showed us two rooms and we chose the second one being room no 720. Very spacious and clean. We just got into bed after a day travelling from UK. At 10am we woke up to drilling !!!! We complained but it didn’t stop. We had this for three of our four days. We were not happy we were not compensated. Not even an offer of a meal or bottle of wine - nothing !!! The hotel itself is spacious and clean. Food is lovely and lots to choose. Staff friendly and efficient. Coffee is tasty. Roof top bar very good though one nosy member of staff but we ignored him. All of our family from Baghdad were welcome within the hotel. Security is very good and the pool and outside restaurant looked good though we didn’t have time to use these facilities ! We would not stay again due to the issue we had. We will choose a different hotel next year

The hotel is very nice, located in the best location, quiet area, the rooms are very good, and service is fantastic, the staff is helpful, overall the stay is fantastic in this hotel, and the cost is logic compare to the hotel quality.
