Apartamentos Vistamar

Despite the negative reviews we found this complex excellent. You had everything you needed in the apartment and the was very clean. The views are stunning and no sunbed wars. Monique on the reception was absolutely brilliant as was the restaurant staff. The weather was glorious and we will definitely be going back.

My wife and I arrived using an easyjet package including breakfast. Don't bother with breakfast. It's the same small menu every day. The third floor room was equipped with all needed to cook and a supermarket just down the road. Just a 5 minute walk but use the smaller one just a few yards further as it's cheaper. The room was suitable for us with double bed, air con, overhead fan and a kitchen. There is a refrigerator with ice box, toaster, induction hob, microwave and oven/grill. Plates and cutlery and cooking utensils were suitable. There is NO tv in the room which was a surprise in these modern times. There were a few tired bits, a missing towel hanger and hose for the bidet for instance but nothing too bad. THERE IS NO BEACH except for stones. The sand was washed away last year and it's too expensive to replace I was told. The staff were exceptional. Always smiling and helpful. The reception closes at 1pm. Not sure how you would check in after that? The restaurant including breakfast does not open until 10am. The sister hotel 5 minutes walk away opens at 9am and has a better choice if you want to include breakfast in your stay. The restaurant closes late, I watched both Spain and England matches in Euro 24 and it was open until the end. There is a bus stop right outside. There are a number of restaurants to choose from but the hotel one is as good as any. The pool was cleaned every day and a good size. Because there are a string of hotels along the road, deliveries start early so can be a bit noisy from about 7.30. The e recycling bins are 100 yards across the road. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a quiet town. Good promenade to walk along and grab a cocktail after dinner.

Location was excellent, with walks and bars close by. Pool area and cleanliness was very good. Apartment was clean and had all we needed, we did eat out though,beach front but our bit of beach had become very rocky and stoney and was not really possible to get in the sea, but a stroll about 100m and the sand came into view, some one said that the storms brought in the rocks only this year, as the beach in front of vistamar was once sand. Be prepared for other people who can come in eat in the cafe and restaurant, and use the pool and beds. Usually lovely and peaceful, but it gets busy at the weekend,with Spanish familys. The views are stunning and so is the sunset. Mainly the older generation are here, maybe because it was late September. Yes we would go again and thank you Monica, for a lovely time.

NON ANDATE A QUESTO HOTEL Dopo le 19.30 non c’è acqua calda. Il wifi non funziona Non c’è la doccia L’aria condizionata é solo in alcune stanze La reception c’è solo dalle 9 alle 14 Se arrivi prima aspetti se arrivi dopo le chiavi te le da il bar. Ti danno due asciugamani e devi farteli bastare per 4gg perché prima non te li cambiano. Il giorno delle pulizie arrivo in camera alle 3 e non era stata pulita. Mando un messaggio e arriva la ragazza che bussa insistentemente e dice: devo cambiarti gli asciugamani, ora. Io ero letteralmente nuda e il mio compagno sotto la doccia. Chiedo 20 minuti e lei mi dice “ ora o me ne vado”. Ne chiedo 5 di minuti. Mi faccio la doccia al volo e lei era soarita. Torno la sera e trovo asciugamani puliti ma non la camera. In reception l’unica cosa che sanno dire é: si ma che bel panorama. Panorama spettacolare ma non vale certamente il prezzo. La struttura é ferma agli anni 80. Ferma. Bloccata. Congelata. Stendo un velo pietoso per il ristorante perché la mezza pensione é indecente, la colazione dalle 10.00 di mattina (bah) la cena é dalle 19.30 alle 21.00 perché poi inizia il servizio del ristorante. Il menu é sempre lo stesso (stai 15gg e sempre quello é). E vi assicuro che noi siamo soartani. Ci hanno rovinato la vacanaza

What a delightful place to stay. The people, staff, views and facilities are perfect. A swimming pool and the Mediterranean meters apart. Perfect for cooling down during the beautiful sunny days. Just delightful 👍

Vue magnifique sur la mer, couchers de soleil très agréables tous les soirs. Piscine agréable, transats toujours disponibles. Hôtel assez vétuste, rénové par ci par là. Appartement à la décoration kitch, équipé simplement. 2 lits simples pour un couple nous en aurions préféré un double. Petit déjeuner à partir de 10h, service très lent malgré le peu de clients, quand on veut partir visiter la journée c'est compliqué. Nous n'avons pas testé les repas. Arrêtez de mettre des photos avec du sable sur la plage devant l'hôtel il n'y en a plus.
