Slot Canyons Inn Bed & Breakfast

The accommodations were top notch. The rental was actually a suite, not just a bed and bath. The owner was our host and very nice and informative. The breakfast was excellent and the property grounds were so pretty. I would definitely stay there again.

When we arrived, we were shown our room only to find out it was different than the one we booked. Apparently we were bumped from the room for someone else, but never received notification or even asked if it was okay. The owner honored the price of the reservation, which was very nice. The room was spacious and clean with an outdoor entrance as well as interior entrance. The challenge with the room was the noise level. We could hear the folks next store talking (muffled so we couldn't understand but definitely could hear ongoing blah blah blah. Whenever the folks aboved us took a bath we heard the tub fill, splash and get emptied. Breakfast was lovely and yummy. Challenge with the coffee though. One small Mr. Coffee does not cut it for 10 guests. They made it as fast as they could, but need to invest in a larger pot. Also the strength of the coffee was lacking. The staff was lovely and kind. Interesting property and very fun time.

Pleasant stay in October, 2023. We stayed in the Anasazi room and really enjoyed the fireplace and shared huge balcony. Lots of nice touches in the room decor and comfortable bed and pillows. There is a restaurant on premises that was very pleasant, delicious and relaxing open Saturday night of our stay. Horses and turkeys in the pasture and a family dog, Chaco, who we just loved. Breakfast is light and sufficient. Missed having access to coffee before breakfast as we are early risers and we are use to mid afternoon cookies and beverages at other B&B's we have stayed at in this price range. With that said, the rooms are beautiful, clean and quiet.
