Roca Blanca

Our stay at the Roca Blanca was perfect in every way, and we promised ourselves to come for a longer vacation next time. This is a family-run hotel, and the hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of useful advice and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are large and comfortable, the views from the windows are breathtaking, and the entire environment is so beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, included many choices, and the hosts even prepared especially for us items that they knew we would like that were not part of the standard breakfast. We cannot wait to be back here.

Super quaint, clean and very friendly. This family owned hotel nestled in the Pyrenees is a lovely retreat for our family. The owners are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Important to mention that they willingly met our gluten free/celiac needs for breakfast. The breakfast is exquisite, with special attention to bringing in a variety of local foods. It’s the most impressive breakfast we’ve had in Spain. The views are extraordinary and the garden lovely. Well situated hotel for incredible hikes in the National Park and the taxi to get up there is 100 meters from the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel and esport for hikes in the Pyrenees.

A great hotel, with excellent service from the hotel managers, who helped us and guided us and even assisted us in accompanying a very nice doctor in the village. Lovely clean hotel with great breakfast. Every time we came back from a trip we really felt like we were back home

Great hotel, even better people. We stayed there one night before starting a multi-day trek through the national park. We ran into some weather and issues on the trail and returned to the hotel two days early, hoping they would have a room for us. It turns out we had unknowingly arrived on Catalonian Independence Day - a major holiday. Mark, the owners' son, clearly put in some effort and was able accommodate us by moving people around. The hotel itself is clean, well-appointed, has comfortable beds, good quality linens and very friendly staff. It also has both a beautiful outside sitting area with gorgeous mountains views and the sound of the river for ambience, in addition to a very nice salon area where we relaxed one day, licking our wounds from the trail. The breakfast is one of the best I have had anywhere. All the yogurts, meats, cheeses and fantastic baked goods like croissants are locally produced and absolutely delicious! Juices and fresh-made cappuccino are also offered with a smile. The hotel Sheep Dog Teo was also a treat, cheerfully always willing to be petted. The owner (I am ashamed I didn't ask his name as he is truly a wonderful man) gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants as well. We went to Juicma twice - both nights incredible! (Reviewed separately). We had such an awesome experience we have half-jokingly contemplated returning to Espot just to stay there again. HIGHLY recommend.

Staff at this hotel are all top class, really friendly and helpful, make you feel at home. The room was large, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect, very close to the buses that take you to the mountains. Breakfast was really tasty too!

We just stayed 2 nights at Roca Blanca and would definitely recommend it, especially if visiting the national park just minutes away. The couple that ran the hotel made the difference as they are super attentive to details and go the extra mile. The room was simple but very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and included lots of local cheeses, hams and fresh products.
