Relais Cavalcanti Guest House

We stayed about four nights in this lovely hotel. I really appreciated the beautiful decor and how home like it felt. The women who work here are amazing and helpful. the location was wonderful, short walk to Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi, which was especially helpful for our early morning tour. Would absolutely return.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Relais Cavalcanti. Anna, Francesca and the young woman who met us when we arrived were delightful. Our room -Donatello-was lovely with a view of the Palazzo Vecchio. The location was excellent. Walking distance of most everything we wanted and many restaurants in the area. We would stay here again!

Good coffee, nice ambiance, comfy beds and clean room. We felt like home. Definetely will stay here on next visits.

We loved the central location, the beautiful room, the kitchen down the hall and refrigerator in our room. The 3rd floor location took us away from the noise of the street, but we could peek at the rooftops and down on the Mercado nuovo as they set up in the morning. The absolute best thing about it, though, is the service we got when we needed it. My husband got sick and needed to be seen at the hospital. Anna couldn't have been more helpful. We had to cancel some reservations for the next several days in Rome so he could recover, and Anna booked us a room elsewhere as she didn't have a way to accommodate us. Her information about the hospital was helpful, and she got us a taxi to get there. It's a scary thing to get sick in a foreign country, but Anna was so kind and thoughtful, we are forever grateful. I could not recommend the B&B more highly.

The service was friendly. The stairs can be onerous if you have heavy luggage. The dining room was clean and you could make coffee at any time of the day or night.

I could not be happier with my stay here. I contacted them via email several weeks before my stay to ask if they would be willing to reserve restaurants for me ahead of time and they were absolutely wonderful about it and booked over 7 restaurants for me. Check in was very friendly, they provided a map of the area wifh recommendations. Cleaned the room every day which was great, cold water in the mini fridge on arrival. Location was excellent in central florence, only 15 min walk from train station and 5 to the Duomo. When my flight got cancelled and i was delayed by a day, they kindly adjusted my reservation so I didn't pay for an extra day even last minute. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly host with lots of helpful information about arrival to Florence. The room was clean, wifi not so great, but you don't go to Florence to stay in and search internet I suppose. Position is super and the coffee and tea always on hand is a great bonus.

Very centrally located, quite, clean, spacious room and very helpful and friendly owner. From the location you find yourself within minutes from most attractions. Nice street cafes are just around the corner.

I had a wonderful stay at Relais Cavalcanti! Francesca is a super nice host, I liked her a lot. The room was very nice and comfortable, it felt really „italian“. I also liked the view from the window. The showerhead didn‘t work excellent, but it was okay, as long as you don‘t wish to take a hour-long shower. Also the entrance door down the street was super hard to open, I always had to ask people to help me - but maybe it was just me or just my key that didn‘t work that well. All in all I loved my stay and it felt almost like home to me. Would absolutely recommend!
