Stayed here for 10 days. Not very welcoming at all on arrival! Got shown our room. Had 3 kids with us and 4 suitcases cases on the top floor which is fine, it is what it is, but no help bringing all my suit cases up (every other hotel in calis we have had help with our cases to the room) cleaners come in once all the time and that’s only because I asked for them after 6 days! Had to get our own toilet roll, towels and bed sheets! Very disappointing and nothing like other hotels in Calis! Staff at the bar dreadful no customer service. Can tell there just brought in students for the season. Had to ask for my cup of tea 5 times one morning took 20mins to come! It wasn’t even busy! Far better hotels in calis I’m afraid. Be going back to the Diana for us next time stick to what is good !

Disappointing!! The hotel itself is nice, but spoilt by management. Our room was not cleaned and no clean sheets or towels for 6 days, then I went to find the cleaners and was given 2 towels between 3 of us and one single sheet to do it myself!! My husband has severe mobility issues and needs a scooter, the first two days the restaurant charged it for us, but then the restaurant manager and the hotel manager refused to charge it, even though we were more than happy to pay and was using the restaurant. Luckily the camp site opposite charged it for us otherwise we would have been stranded!! We felt uncomfortable in the hotel for the rest of the holiday. The ground floor rooms have 5 steps up to the room so not disability friendly at all. We have come to Calis regularly for 18 years but will not stay in this hotel.

It like Çaliş, I visit three or four times a year. This May 2025 I stayed at the Daphne Residence for the first time - I will definitely be returning. The management and staff are extra helpful - they go out of their way to assiat guests, the rooms are very clean and kept clean by diligent cleaners, the Alia bar/restaurant staff are always happy, especially Ìlknur, Hürrem and Teo who always made us feel special. The Alia serves up excellent food and it's manager is top class. The whole 'residence' was peaceful and a joy to stay there. I travel with family, friends and also solo; Daphne would be perfect for whoever I holiday with. Ten out of ten.

I used to come here twice a year for a long stay (120 days) and it was a real home away from home, unfortunately not anymore. It was a really nice feeling to come and see loving faces telling ‘Welcome back to your second home! ‘YOUR room is ready!’. And I really got accustomed to it, like, buying small little things and leaving in it for other guests until coming back. But there were some unpleasant vibes from one of the managers who now finally took other the guidance. This time the welcoming was very formal, and this very room happened to be occupied, and that is strange since I came in low season, I asked and was promised to move in it when it become available in a few days, maximum about a week. I received a ‘seaview room’ for full price but with very nominal seaview, mostly obstructed by newly-built and very much overpriced cafeteria (which I nevertheless visited wishing to support the hotel). No discount was offered for me as loyal and long-staying customer (which is strange because each and every renting place offers such a discount), I got a small one after very much insisting on it. The hotel was very little occupied, but this very room was mysteriously told to be occupied though it looks like free. After two weeks I found out that the room was indeed empty but this manager refused to give it to me and then gave it to other quests though there were a lot of available empty rooms which were offered to me when I called up to broken promises and unpleasant attitude. She told me that I had to wait before moving (into another room nevertheless) until the ‘linen change day’ which were by the way changed only once during my total 16 days of staying! So this ‘reason’ is offensive if pretext and unpleasant if true (what happens with linen changing for guests staying for a few days?) When I revealed that I am not feeling comfortable staying with such an attitude, she did not show intention to keep me or at least to smooth the situation over. So I left the next day even without finding a new place to stay (which is not the problem by the way, especially in the low season), shocked and literally with tears in my eyes telling farewell to place where I used to feel so comfortable before. If they are so demonstratively not interested in loyal guests who also stay for long time during the off-season, I guess they care about other guests even less. I travelled a lot in my life and have a tendency to get attached to some places, repeatedly returning to them again so I can recognize signs of inevitable decline and there they are. So good-bye Daphne Residence, I gonna miss the place it used to be for me but never the place it became. Such a pity…

Roomy more than just a hotel room. Lovely place to stay if you want more than a hotel room. The apartments are large with 2 large pools & on the seafront. A restaurant has just been added which is very good.

Just returned after 3 weeks and loved our apartment no issue with staff and they leave you alone to get on with your holiday although restaurant is a different company so can’t deal with issues re hotel. Loved quiet location and the campsites full of Turkish families as we walked through. This end of resort is quieter which we preferred can be a bit hectic up the other end where we stayed last year. Eat quite a few meals in Oben’s and drank in Lukka’s & Lee’s quite a bit.
