Mar Hotels Playa Mar & Spa

I stayed with a number of friends from my cycling club and was very impressed. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Hotel was clean and has lots of amenities. Only ventured into the spa on the last day for a peek but it looked great. Food was a little above the standard of the usual all inclusive fare with wide variety of choices and kitchen staff were willing to cook specific things on request. WiFi was available throughout. Location was little out of the way but an nice sea front walk into the centre of Puerto Pollenca. All in all very enjoyable visit.

Amazing hotel, staff were awesome, friendly & accommodating. Food was fab, and they catered for us & most of our group were vegan/ vegetarian and I am gluten free. You only had to ask and they sorted this with no issue at all. Perfect place 10/10

Amazing hotel. We travelled with 3 children ( 7months, 3yrs and 5yrs). They loved everything. The outdoor pools were brilliant for young kids. Although a little chilly at the start of April. We had wetsuits which meant they could stay in longer. There was a kids disco every evening. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. We were all inclusive, breakfast, lunch and dinner were brilliant, with lots of choices for everyone. The day time snacks were limited to crisps, biscuits and sandwiches. Very wheelchair accessible with great wheelchair rooms. No hoist into the pool though. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday.

From the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave we loved it! We had a lovely suite with private garden which suited us perfectly. We went all inclusive and could not fault any meal we had, we really enjoyed the themed nights they had in restaurant too (Mexican night was great) The pool was amazing for the kids to play in but also nice for the adults to relax by. All the staff are lovely and friendly but I must say the animation team are in a class of their own! Andreea, Stefan, Paul & Sami are a credit to the hotel. They really make it their mission for the kids to have a great holiday (and adults too!) so many different things for the kids to do, a great mix of activities for both kids and adults. We made use of the spa and treated ourselves to a massage treatment which is the best I’ve ever had! Felt brand new leaving there! I will definitely be returning for sure!

Do not leave clothes on beds we have just come back after 5 nights resturant and bar staff are lovely but customer service is disgusting complained as some clothes got damaged when were out for the day only person that could of been in the room was the cleaner but when I took them to reception then spoke to the deputy manager she said she spoke to cleaner and they don’t use anything that could have done it even though we have been in the room other days when they have been spraying stuff they take no responsibility for your things but we would be expected to take responsibility if we damaged anything in our room

There aren’t enough compliments for the staff truly. As someone that travels a lot and spends a lot of time in hotels. This hotel has definitely far exceeded my expectations and I would definitely say it’s the best hotel service I’ve ever received, from the catering staff to the cleaning staff. Everyone is genuinely helpful and very cheerful. The hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy and it smells like too. The hotel facilities and amenities are everything I expect in a 4* hotel everything is up to the expected standard. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you ever in Majorca. I cannot wait to go back personally.

We stayed here for a week for our first family holiday with our 3yr old. This is one of the first hotels me and my husband have both said without a doubt we will 100% return in the future. We had a garden suite room which was perfect to have the garden area as a extra for our little boy to play when we were in the room. And the bonus of a perfect view of the pool area! We stayed all inclusive and every meal was perfect with plentiful choice for us all and all cooked to we felt an excellent standard. The staff at this hotel were so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Everybody was also amazing with our little boy and all children at the hotel. Special shout out to the animation team. When we stayed in mid March there were a handful of children but they still put so much effort into the kids club and mini disco every night. My son had a special bond with ‘Andrea’ and she even came and found us as we were checking out of the hotel for one final hug goodbye and a special gift for my son so extra special shout out to her from Felix! Things like that really make a hotel when you are staying as a family. This hotel was amazing, just the right size and everything laid out so you quickly know your way around and are comfortable the entire stay.

We visited playa mar as a family of four in early April, the hotel was fantastic, very well kept and clean, we were all inclusive and the selection of food was very good and nice quality, the drink selection was good with may premium brands and cocktails available. The pool is good for younger children and the entertainment team are so friendly and organised events such as football and water polo. It’s just a short walk to the sea and then 20 minutes to port Pollença which is worth visiting. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again.

We had a great stay at Hotel Mar in Pollenca! The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to our every need. For every additional request or assistance with an issue, the team was always friendly and accommodating. We were also happy with the diversity and taste of the restaurant. The kitchen team was even able to cater to our vegan requests. Furthermore, they surprised us with a wonderful vegan birthday cake, whipped up on short notice. It truly made our stay unforgettable.
