Our first night, our beds were terrible, our bodies sank into the middle, even if we slept in separate beds, every time I rolled over, the bed frame would make some clanking noises. Upon complaint In the morning, the friendly staff offered us a majestic suite. I checked this room out and the beds were better, but not great. The beds and frames definitely need an upgrade.
Also, after checking into our new room (4th floor), I noticed that the fridge had a spill and smelled super sour. I asked the front desk if they could have it cleaned out for me and they apologized and said they would send housekeeping into the room. I placed some drinks in the fridge, upon return 6 hours later, the drinks were warm and the spill/mess was still in the fridge. I had to complain yet again.
On our final night stay, the elevator broke down. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs, which in its self is not a problem, however, the elevator remained out of order the following morning, which meant we had to carry all of our bags down stairs.
As we packed our car, we also noticed a big pile of puke next to the bench out front.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They truly wanted you to have a good stay. They tried to make things better for you. Unfortunately, they were doing the best the could with what they had and it fell short. The location on water is beautiful, pier is a great touch, pool and hot tub and nice. Conveniently located in walking distance to bars,ice Cream etc
