Upon checking at 4p…I was told my room was not ready and I could wait at the bar until I receive a call or text once my room was available. That text came in at 11pm with a $50 credit for the 7 hour inconvenience!
After speaking with the manager, no apology was made or offer of compensation. I then made my frustrations clear and was offered an upgraded room at no additional cost. The only issue I had with my room was the faulty shower heads and my room cleaning was at 7pm.. not enjoyable or practical.. when dinning and at the restaurant or ordering drinks at the bar, You’ll find that they are understaffed and dismissive towards customers! The four days I was there. I would stand and the bar waiting to be helped and witnessed multiple guests doing the same… if you didn’t directly ask for a drink, they’d never acknowledge your presence. It gets worse! Expect to receive a bill to your room with bogus charges that you already paid for! It blows my mind how they can bill you for paid or fake charges knowing (most) customers keep receipts, therefore you’d think they would have an explanation for how the charges came about..but they don’t! So, keep your receipts! My suggestion-Better management in Hotel and Restaurant/Bar which should also make for better staff. No one was overly friendly, nor did they make you feel like a “guest”…. Staff did the bare minimum to accommodate and act friendly.
