Tetris Container Hostel

Pretty disappointed overall. Was hoping that the hostel would be an interesting and reliable place to stay whilst visiting the falls, but unfortunately was neither. The hostel itself is in need of some love and care. There are holes in the ceiling such as the one that was outside our door that leaked a lot of water onto the floor after some rain overnight. I've attached a photo of of this and one just in the main lobby area. The room was dirty and features were poorly maintained. A lot of out of date notice boards added to the out-of-date feel. The toilets in the main lobby were in a very poor condition. Whilst staff were friendly and willing to help, the hostel felt too laid back for me; it felt like I was staying in the owners home, and staff's gap year job more than I was staying in a place I had paid for. The first day that we were here, the owners hosted a children's birthday party using the main outdoor area of the hostel; and whilst this was nice, it did make one feel a little bit like a stranger. Staff would spend a lot of time sat around on their phones and at the tables outside talking, which would normally be ok, but for example our room was never cleaned. Whilst I understand that we were here during low season, it really felt like the bar and standards were low during our time here. To their credit, they did make a great caiparinha at the bar! The location is decent; about a 10 min walk to the centre of town, and a short walk to a bus stop that goes to the falls. The wifi was also okay.

Decent and cheap hostel Great and friendly staff. Always on hand. The shower facilities need improvement and possibly directions on the taps as there are 4 but it was a good shower once I figured out how to do it. Sun lounging area was great and spacious too. Beds were comfortable.

When choosing this hostel last minute, I was amazed by their hospitality and willingness to help meet my needs. They went well beyond expectations due to a friendly staff and positive environment of the house guests.

I've spent five nights in April 2022. Staff is very helpful and efficient. Rooms are tide and clean. Dormitory have a/c, each bed has his safe box (don't forget your padlock). Downtown is easy reachable on foot or by bus. Staff can assist you organising excursion at Iguazú falls in Argentina. I warmly recommend it. Luca

É um lugar otimo se o que vc está procurando é um lugar limpo, seguro e confortavel pra passar a noite. Nao tem luxos, mas atende bem ao propósito de quem vai fazer passeios o dia todo e só precisa de um canto para repousar à noite.

Bacana Bacana a hospedagem, fui sozinha e deu tudo certo! Ar condicionado, cama boa, chuveiro funcionando! Local próximo ao centro!
