Our family arrived at Domaine du Colombier on the 28th of June with high expectations, ready to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the pool and exploring the beautiful Côte d’Azur. Unfortunately, our experience has been marred by an unexpected and uncomfortable situation regarding the swimwear policy at the campsite. Since our arrival, we have been enjoying the pool almost daily. The pool area is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a great place to unwind. However, today, July 2nd, I was abruptly asked to leave the pool because my swimwear did not comply with their regulations. The swimwear in question is what I have been wearing every single time I have entered the pool since we arrived, with no prior issues or warnings from the staff. To be told, several days into our stay, that I cannot return to the pool without changing into specific swimwear (which I feel very uncomfortable wearing) was both surprising and disappointing. When booking our stay, there was no mention of this selective swimwear policy. Had this information been clearly stated, we would have chosen a different campsite, as personal comfort and enjoyment are paramount during our family vacations. Upon arrival, we were also disappointed to find our caravan squeezed in between three other caravans, end to end, with a wall on one side and bushes on the other. It feels cramped and strange having to walk off a path onto a stone path and then through dust and soil to get to our caravan. With that being said, the caravan itself is nice and big, providing ample space for our family. The interior is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, which has made our stay more bearable despite the cramped exterior surroundings. Our teens have enjoyed the various entertainment options available, which have helped keep them engaged and happy during our stay. The facilities are generally excellent, and the camping pitches and accommodation are well-kept, offering a pleasant environment for guests. The on-site amenities, including the spa, balneo area, and various sports activities, are impressive and cater to a wide range of interests. The location is another highlight. Nestled between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, the campsite offers easy access to some of the most picturesque and exciting destinations along the Côte d’Azur. We have had some wonderful day trips exploring nearby towns, beaches, and attractions, which has been a delightful part of our holiday. However, the enjoyment of our stay has been significantly overshadowed by the pool incident. The enforcement of the swimwear policy in such an abrupt manner, after several days without issue, has left a sour taste. It is crucial for such policies to be communicated clearly and consistently to avoid any discomfort or inconvenience to guests. In conclusion, while Domaine du Colombier has many positive attributes, the mishandling of the swimwear policy has severely impacted our experience. We value transparency and clear communication, especially r
