Mas de La Tour

You will not be disappointed. We stayed for 7 nights in a room for 3 with a 10 year old boy. There are better appointed places to stay in Provence, but few this clean, with so much character and with such good food in the evening. Leave your car in the shade of a solar panelled car park hung with vines offering EV charging. Walk up a lavender lined path to reception. Your host is Julie, daughter of the patron, Daniel. Both are ever present, and Julie works like a dynamo to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Daniel is a fantastic character with much advice and humour. Tariq the chef has been there for 15 years. The food is excellent, imaginative, and great value for money. An inner courtyard with a fountain acts as the restaurant beneath the shade of a tree. There’s a plush indoor restaurant setting for if it rains (it didn’t). There’s a pool table, a table tennis table and a good sized pool. The cleaning staff is worthy of mention. I defy you to find a speck of dust. The setting is delightful with wonderful views—a 10 minute drive from Roussillon. The downside? The place is aging gracefully. Beds are hard and our room lacked a shower and shaver socket. Don’t let this put you off.

The hotel is very nicely situated on a hill and has great views. I booked a room with a “tweepersoons” / double bed. This translated into a very small bed of 140cm wide. Too small for 2 people. And on top of that it was rediculously hard. We hardly slept that night. And the bright yellow flashing light on the airco unit didn’t help either. When we reported this we got a very defensive reaction.

Wow, this hotel, it’s location and staff are a real gem. We spent one night on 22nd June 2023, whilst on a road cycling trip through the Provence. Then we returned for another overnight stay 2 days later. I liked it to the point where I am now, on travel back to the UK, planning already a return trip. The staff were extremely attentive, helpful and kind. The food was special, best food I had in the Provence. The chef has been working there for 14+ years. Pool is refreshing, views stunning, wine selection exemplar. Looking forward to spending more time at this family run hotel. BW michael moeller (London E2 8FS)

This is a real find in my favourite part of France. Only open Easter-Oct which is a shame. Not gushingly welcoming but there is a genuine feeling of wanting your visit to be comfortable. Dining room and bar are the best. Get a chat with the retired owner who sits most days in the courtyard drinking Rose and smiling at everyone. Great with pets too.

Een prima, mooi gelegen hotel voor een nachtje als je op doorreis bent. Inrichting redelijk gedateerd maar kan ook z'n charme hebben. Eerste instantie leek de kamer schoon totdat we in de loop van de 2 dagen 3 kakkerlakken tegen kwamen. Dit uiteraard gemeld, werd heel laconiek op gereageerd. Jammer!!

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits ,deux nuits horribles. Climatisation qui disjonctait et bloquée sur 23 degrés . La soirée il a fallu faire réactiver cette clim par la réception. Or la nuit impossible. La réceptionniste n’a pas été très accueillante . On nous explique que lorsque le parking est fermé le véhicule doit être stationné hors de l’hotel (ceci n’était pas indiqué lors de la réservation). Hotel qui a besoin d’une bonne restauration, façades ternies, ! Fuyez! Passez votre chemin ! Un seul point positif le petit dejeuner! Correct.

Très belle situation géographique où l'on peut profiter du silence L'hôtel est agréable mais mériterait d'être remis à neuf. Tout y est assez vieux. La décoration et le mobilier datent des années 80. L'espace où se trouve la piscine est bien aménagé mais avec du mobilier défraîchi Côté cuisine, le petit déjeuner est bien fourni. Nous n'avons pas profité de la restauration du soir car les menus sont peu saisonniers et ne nous ont pas attiré Nous y retournerons avec plaisir si des travaux d'aménagement et de rénovation sont faits

Cet établissement ne mérite pas 3 étoiles.. La vétusté et le manque d entretient est flagrant .... Un grand coup de frais ne ferait pas de mal.. Pas à fuir mais ça ne fait pas rever.. Pour une nuit de passage, ca dépanne mais pas plus !!!!! C est dommage car le cadre et les alentours sont magnifiques.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous avons regretté de n'avoir réservé qu'une seule nuit. L'accueil est très agréable et professionnel. Mention spéciale au cuisinier qui maîtrise parfaitement les cuissons au feu de bois tant pour les poissons que pour les viandes. Nous reviendrons !
