Le Gavachon

Really lovely stay at Le Gavachon. We were in chambre atelier with shower and it was a large, beautifully decorated and clean room. Simple breakfast of coffee/ tea, fresh OJ, fresh fruit, croissants and other mixed bread with butter and jams - all very good quality. We were attending a wedding around 15 mins away so didn’t have any time to use the pool, spend time in the grounds but it all looked nicely maintained. Location very peaceful but definitely recommend bringing a car as there aren’t any restaurants/ shops within walking distance and taxis aren’t easily available. Philippe is a great host and catered to our group’s needs very well.

Philippe and Lois were amazing hosts, extremely helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. They really do go above and beyond to ensure that their guests receive the very best experience from their stay. We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights (4 adults, 1 toddler), whilst attending a nearby wedding, and would highly recommend it. The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable, and spacious, and the living area has dining table and chairs, a small kitchenette, plus a sofa. The bathroom has a shower over bath. The grounds are kept beautifully, and the swimming pool was a great area to spend the hot days, relaxing. The buildings themselves have been restored immaculately, giving it a contemporary feel, whilst maintaining the history and charm of the original buildings. The breakfasts were plentiful, including breads, jams, croissants, fruits, juices, and tea/coffee. Auch is a short 10 minute drive/taxi ride away, and is well worth a visit. The old town is full of historic architecture, with lots of restaurants/bakeries. Le Gavachon is highly recommended. Thank you to the hosts for an amazing stay.

Nous étions enchantés de notre escale dans votre splendide maison d'hôtes, tout était parfait les petits déjeunes, les suites sont très confortables, la piscine située dans le très beau jardin permet de se détendre. Philippe et Luiz savent recevoir et sont aux petits soins! Une adresse charmante et attachante idéale pour une escapade en amoureux ou entre amis

Super séjour dans un ravissant domaine ! L'ancienne bâtisse de charme se situe au cœur d'un parc magnifique, avec ses arbres centenaires et sa piscine. Les chambres refaites à neuf sont très spacieuses et décorées avec raffinement alliant confort, fonctionnalité et propreté (ce qui n'est pas toujours facile à trouver... :-)). Les propriétaires ont su conserver le style ancien avec beaucoup de modernité. Tout était réuni que que nous passions 3 jours formidables au calme, avec des hôtes au top : adorables et très prévenants. Un petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux de qualité. Bref, à découvrir absolument si, comme nous, vous souhaitez découvrir le Gers et le Périgord et que vous êtes amoureux des beaux endroits. Bien placée, la maison d'hôtes est à 10min de Auch !
