a&o Graz Hauptbahnhof

The system took our booking but the room was not ready was not clean and explanation given was that booking came in late and housekeeping was not Carried out. We had to do the bedding ourselves all six beds that’s including going downstairs multiple times to get beddings from the reception. Why would the system accepted the booking when the room was not ready to check in is beyond me and imagine it was late night with four tired kids with all day driving.

This hostel is really over my expectation. It is just within 15 minutes walking from the Graz Hbf train station. It is also not that far from all attractions in the city that you can walk as well (within 30 minutes walking). The room is clean but no A/C. During this summer, I need to open the window to get the cooler air from outside at night. There are share kitchen with pots and pans as well as plates and utensils. However, the fridge is broken.

I really enjoy this hostel because the staffs are very nice and I had a good talk with them. My roommate is so nice and we talked a lot and shared with one whole room together. I felt so happy in Graz although it rained heavily today.
