Property is located in Gumlog and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The neighborhood roads are privately maintained and a great place for walks and to enjoy nature. Tugaloo State Park is 2 miles away from the cottage and offers trails, swimming, and boat ramp. Boats are available to rent at nearby marina.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 20 lbs per pet (limit one pet total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

4th of July @ Lake Hartwell
The location was in a great area close to Tugaloo to launch our boat. The house was perfect for our stay, it was well maintained, clean and well stocked. The dock was in great shape for docking our boat for our stay. We would 100% book again to stay next year.

Lake Hartwell
We had a blast on our trip to hartwell. House was very cute and clean. Owners are wonderful! They even called to inform us of some work they had just completed on the house. The dock is perfect for swimming and fishing. Great neighborhood. Perfect place to take a family.

Repeat visitors
Storms had done som damage, but owners called ahead of our stay to inform us. Most repair work had been completed. Excellent stay for fathers day and our sons birthday.

Great getaway

Summer vacation
The lake property is just what we needed to spent time with my granddaughter before she goes back to school. We had a blast and we dodge hurricane Debby!!

The best
Friends and I stayed here for a couple nights for a music festival. It was a blast loved how we were on the water and the view on the dock is priceless

Cute Cottage on the Lake!
We are quite familiar with Lake Hartwell, but mainly on the SC side. This was our first time staying in the Gumlog area of the lake in GA. The owners did a great job on the renovation of this little cottage. It was super cute and super clean! Although the whole place was under 1000 square ft, it was great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The views from the deck were great, as the house is situated on a wooded lot on a quiet cove. The area was very peaceful too! We didn't use the dock this time, but appreciated the owner letting us know about the power issues on the dock itself. We thought it may be difficult to maneuver our large pontoon trailer on the narrow neighborhood roads, but there is ample space. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect Hidden Gem
The house was the perfect size for just the two of us. We got away while the kids were at camp for a working week. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed. They even allowed us to check out late since we had the boat with us. A word of caution. If you need to store your trailer at the house while there. Be aware that the roads are small and tight. It took my skilled husband to get it backed into the lot. Other than that. It was perfect!

Work Buds
Easy process, house was everything we needed. Enjoyed the clean dock and the deep water for swimming. The house seems larger that the footage listed. Master bath was great. Lots of towels.
