Glasgow (Hamilton)

We have stayed at many premier inns over the years, this is possibly one of the best. We stayed as a family for 1 night on a stopover travelling north, on arrival staff were friendly and helpful. We signed up to the meal deal for £18.99 which gave us a 2 course evening meal with a drink and a full breakfast(kids eat breakfast free). I can see why everyone comments on the staff here, everyone was fantastic and very helpful. Special mention to the chef who was happy to make my son a friend egg with just the white, he was very happy. The location was perfect for us, easy to find just off the motorway with shops and amenities a few minutes walk away. We passed a few hours at the Vue cinema just 5 minutes from the hotel. By way of balanced review the only criticism we can find is that all the drains smell and likely need to be looked at. We would happily stay again if we are in the area. Thank you everyone

We always stay at the Premier Inn Hamilton if we are visiting Glasgow or Edinburgh. It makes for a great spot between the two and is normally cheaper than staying in the city centre ones, it is located right beside the motorway or a short walk away from Hamilton Central train station, it's perfect for travelling into Glasgow with ease. Staff are always so friendly and willing to go above and beyond, check-in is always easy, and being a Premier Inn: you always know what to expect! We stay here a few times a year but have noticed mainly on this visit, some of the walls in our room and in lobby's are starting to become marked or dented and the exterior around reception is beginning to look a bit run down and untidy, it's a shame seeing a brand like this letting down their appearance! It would be good to see some improvement for next time as Premier Inn should be keeping on top of it, especially with the revenue they are taking in! We did try the Beefeater attached for our evening meal and always love it: food is always served fresh off the grill and cooked to perfection, you can't go wrong with a Beefeater. All in all, we love staying at Premier Inn Hamilton, although I would advise shopping around as the prices rocket up some weekends... and others can be £49 a night.

Checked in early on Christmas Eve at an extra cost of £10. Check in seemed reasonable, got to room and it was dark and dinghy with a terrible noice above the ceiling what sounded like air conditioning and there was a view of the bins at the back from the window. Went to reception to ask for another room as had asked for one at front which was not the case when seeing the room. Next room given was next door to the one on the third floor just the same as previous one. Third time on asking for another room, it was to the front and more comfortable which l had asked for in the first place when checking in. The receptionist did get a bit shirty when l asked for a room at the front and said the they had a lot of people that night? Not sure what that was about as I checked in at 12 pm. She didn’t provide a very professional manor to help sort out the situation which was very disappointing as l was looking forward to our stay over Christmas. The rest of the staff on reception were lovely and helpful.

An excellent modern clean well located P.Inn. Good safe parking onsite (which you pay for) Booking was seamless and great value, evening meal in Beefeater was excellent, as was the breakfasts! Due to storm we added any extra night which again was no trouble with the staff Location was excellent with 5 min walk to train and bus station and 2 mins to local vue cinema and restaurants I would say and I’ve been lucky I’ve been all around country that is the best premier inn I’ve stayed in -thanks And special thanks to ladies on reception for your help with directions Had a fantastic weekend away with my lad who is growing up to be an amazing young man !! I have stayed here now on numerous occasions. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and quiet. The staff are wonderful. The Reception staff have great memories and greef you like you are family. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so o friendly and professional. Big shout out to Denise and Joanne who couldn't be any better.

Suasane and Danya are the most helpful staff, and have made our stay very welcoming, and they're charity work at the lobby is next too non, we know now that this is a hotel to recommend if they both are working, once again Susanne and Danya have made our experience amazing.
