What a cosy unique place. I waited more than a year to fulfill my wish: yoga right on a privat Ghat of Ma Ganga. Staff is amazing! I felt so welcome like being in family. Every wish I asked we could realize, from going to temples, local food and remote villages.

One of the best place to be with family & friends. Peaceful place to observe maa ganga, awesome landscape of initial mountains & never ending hospitality. This is one of my fav place & have visited 4 times already... can visit endless more. Thanks to the serene vibes, cordial staff & their uttrakhandi hospitality.

We loved our stay at Amrit Bhavan in Haridwar. The hotel is relatively small, and much attention has been put into the experience from the service to the architecture. The design is thoughtful throughout from material selection to furniture. The food is sourced locally and the staff attentive. The garden leads down to a private waterfront of the Ganges where we had a yoga class with the hotels private teacher every morning. We had an amazing stay and will come back for more.

This is my second visit to this stunning property, and I have to say, it feels like a slice of paradise. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and everything is impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond; their warmth and hospitality make you feel at home. The food is outstanding! Each dish is crafted with clean, local, and fresh ingredients, making every bite a kosher and heartwarming delight. The staff curated dishes according to our dietary restrictions, and they were the best. Our stay was truly memorable, and a considerable part of that was thanks to our wonderful host, Sunil Ji. His knowledge of the city and its rich cultural history is remarkable. He shares fascinating stories about the temple and the Ganga with such passion that you can't help but be captivated. This experience was once again a great one.

Our experience at Amrit Bhawan was truly exceptional. The name, which literally translates to "House of Nectar," perfectly encapsulates the heavenly treatment we received during our stay. The food was a highlight, served with such love and care that it felt blessed by Goddess Ma Ganga herself. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the location provided a serene escape from the city's noise. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles, making us feel embraced by the spirit of the Ganga. The property itself is a work of art, with meticulous attention to detail in every corner—from the decor to the lighting and sounds, everything is uplifting. The food deserves special mention; the breakfast spread was a 10/10, with red rice dosa, millet porridge, and banana pancakes topping our list. Each meal, including the thali dinners, was a delightful representation of local cuisine. We also appreciated the community representation throughout the property and the daily evening aartis, which were beautifully maintained. The evening music and sound therapy added to the serene atmosphere. We had the chance to partake in a cooking class by Chef himself and took back home some techniques to try make our own “Pahadi” delights! A highlight of our stay was participating in a graceful aarti at Har Ki Pauli, expertly arranged by the team. We are incredibly grateful to Mohit Ji, Sunil Ji, Sagar Ji, Abhishek Ji, the entire kitchen crew and housekeeping team their exceptional service. We can't wait to return!

The highlight is undoubtedly the private access to the Ganga. I did yoga early in the morning on the deck by the ghat —you can even ask for a personalised session with a yoga teacher. Evening aarti (prayers) by the river created a deeply personal spiritual experience for us, far removed from the crowded public ghats. The space is so thoughtfully designed with perfect details and maintains the charm of a vintage Indian house. Our room had such soft hues, making for a cosy, relaxing ambience. The property itself is lush and green, with multiple nooks to just be and unwind. Sometimes, just one visit is enough, but the exceptional service at Amrit Bhawan will always draw me back. The staff is warm and attentive and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and memorable. I want to thank everyone who made our stay one of our sweetest memories.
