Amrit Bhawan

We spent a few nights at this fabulous hotel. It is situated on the banks of the river. The room was well thought out, clean with a very comfortable bed and with a large modern bathroom. We had our own private balcony and the room service was excellent serving delicious vegetarian food. The breakfast was fabulous. The hotel manager was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a guide of the old part of Haridwar and showed us parts of the town tourists don’t get to see. We were on a personal journey to find our ancestral information which is recorded in special books kept by priests. Sunil was patient and kind and with his knowledge we were able to locate the priest. We are indebted to his support. We took part in a private aarti ceremony organised by the hotel. Very spiritual and moving. Thank you. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had the nicest stay at Amrit Bhawan. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is amazing (some of the best we’ve had in India), the shower pressure was very strong, and the environment is great for those seeking peace and relaxation. We will be recommending this lovely hotel to our friends and hope to come back soon! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Mohit and the amazing staff treated me like family, their kindness and attentiveness creating an atmosphere that was both comforting and uplifting. The property itself is a masterpiece of aesthetics, preserving its rich heritage while weaving in modern elegance. Every corner seemed to tell a story, from the carefully restored details to the tranquil private ghat. The food was a revelation, outstanding flavours that celebrated local traditions, each meal prepared with care and thoughtfulness. And the curated experiences? They were as thoughtful as they were enriching, offering a deep connection to the culture and spirit of Haridwar.
