Great stay at this family run hotel , the attention to detail was second to none, a good varied breakfast pleasantly served by mum , there was nothing you could fault. Be it the comfortable room or the quiet location just 10 minutes walk from the town centre.

We had a great stay as two couples and Adam, his mum Elizabeth and the team made us really welcome including the “stealth Labrador” The room was large, well furnished and comfortable. With a great shower. Really close to town with an abundance of restaurants close by within easy walking distance. Breakfast was great and kept coming !! Lovely place would stay again great hosts !! We hope Elizabeth finds love ❤️!! 😂

We enjoyed our stay at this very friendly and welcoming family-run guesthouse. Comfortable room and very nice breakfast. The property is an easy ten minute walk from both train station and town centre and located on a very quiet, largely traffic free street.

We had a great stay and Adam, his mum, and the team made us really welcome. The room was large, well furnished and comfortable. It's conveniently situated close to the town centre restaurants pubs etc all just a few mins walk away. Loved it and would gladly stay again.

Be exceptionally careful of this B and B and my best advice is book elsewhere. I have family that work in travel and tourism they would be horrified by this place calling it a B snd B. We booked a garden view we were given a road view. Carpet in the bathroom. My other half is on trea**ent for pneumonia past 3 days. The room was cold I asked the owner at 15.30 hrs about the heating. He said he does not put the heating on until 16.00 hrs. The owner then said he would put the heating on at 15.30 hrs. The room was tatty and worn with frayed material on chairs and the mattress from wear and tear. No duvets on beds, blankets only. The mattress was half collapsed on one side with stains. The radiators were switched off from the morning. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in and we are well travelled and stayed in lots of hotels and B and B's, in the UK and abroad. The back garden area from the dining area looked like a tip. Latest breakfast is 09.00 hrs due to his chef/ cleaner finishing then. Everywhere else we have stayed even a recent B and B you can have breakfast until 10.00 hrs, this is an issue when you work 50 to 60 hrs a week and you have not had a break for ages. Very 80s feel to the room. It looks like nothing has been updated even the mattress since the 1980s. The photos look nothing like real life apart from the dining area. We also heard traffic noise when we asked for a quiet room. The locks on the bedroom door also don't work. I went down for breakfast and noticed whilst waiting for my partner he was happily talking to the white English couple. My partner is from overseas and the owner was not chatty at all to us and could not look us in the eye.

Our 3rd stay at Alexandra Court Hotel in Harrogate is nothing short of fantastic. The hotel's charming exterior is matched by the warm and welcoming ambiance as soon as we stepped through the door. They are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Whether offering local recommendations or promptly addressing any requests, their hospitality truly stood out. The central location of the hotel makes exploring Harrogate a breeze. I appreciate the convenience of being within walking distance of key attractions and dining options. The breakfast spread is particularly impressive, providing a great start to each day. Overall, Alexandra Court Hotel always exceeds our expectations, combining comfort, hospitality, and a prime location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harrogate for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Room was clean and comfortable however it was not serviced after the first night due to shortage of staff. Breakfast was good.

Our stay was completely lovely. The owner was there to help us check in after a long day of travel and even helped lug our bags up the steps. That might be the only thing worth noting-- I don't recall an elevator so you may want to look elsewhere if you can't do stairs. Otherwise the breakfast in the morning was amazing, the room was quaint and clean and comfy, and there were even a sneaky pair of calm, friendly dogs who came to say hi in the dining area even though they weren't allowed in there :) We were in town for a convention, and Alexandra Court was a VERY easy walk to and from both the train and the convention center. I would highly recommend the place to anyone staying in the area. Really just a fantastic stay overall in lovely little Harrogate.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the Alexandra Court very much. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect. It is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Adam and his family were very welcoming. We would highly recommend it.
