Maison Merzouga Guest House

Charming guesthouse. The friendly owner Lahcen knows the region and its history as no other, moreover he is active in its preservation for the future. The place is huge and well heated for the winter nights - it has a gorgeous roof terrace. The food and staff are lovely it is a great base to explore merzouga and the region. I will be back!

Maison is located just outside Merzouga and is exceptionally quiet. The space is very clean, well maintained, and very well decorated. Maison has WiFi, abundant hot water, heated rooms and private parking. Lahcen, the owner, can help you arrange any activity you like. Hamid is especially wonderful for a 4x4 exploration of the desert. Azziz is lovely and kind and attentive throughout your stay at Maison.

I nice and peacy place to visit. I recommand you frongly to see Lahcen hospitality and Aziz delecious meals. The place is in Hassi Lbeid near of merzouga disert. It's recommanded for health tourism and also cultural one

Went to Merzuga with my girlfriend and two other friends: We arrived late at night at the facilty, but nonetheless the staff welcomed us warmly with an amazing and super rich dinner. The next day, we enjoyed the sun and relaxed by the pool. In the late afternoon, we left the Guest House to go into the desert on camels' backs, to spend the night in the middle of the dunes. The Dunes experience is hard to describes in words, it is simply amazing. After the night out, we went back to the Guest House where a fresh shower and abundant breakfast were waiting for us. The Guest House is very cozy and with all the needed services, the staff is super kind and available. Last but not least, the owner Lahcen is one of the most interesting person I have ever met: if you have the chance, I strongly recommend to sit down with him, drink some traditional tea and just have a chat - you won't regret it.

Ho sempre sognato di visitare Merzouga e l’Erg Chebbi e grazie al proprietario della guest house Lahcen io e mia moglie abbiamo potuto farlo nel migliore dei modi. L’accoglienza e i servizi sono stati fantastici e assolutamente diversi dalle proposte più turistiche delle varie tende ai margini del deserto. Abbiamo seguito il consiglio del proprietario e abbiamo prenotato una visita per il giorno seguente in 4x4 insieme alla simpatica e competente guida Atman (soprannominato simpaticamente Batman) di 4 ore attraverso i segreti dell’Erg Chebbi, tra villaggi abbandonati, visite a famiglie Berbere e distese di fossili. Verso sera infine, a bordo di due dromedari, abbiamo passato la notte all’interno delle dune per una romantica serata sotto le stelle nel silenzio più assoluto per un’esperienza autentica e senza fronzoli. Siamo stati davvero fortunati a conoscere una persona come Lahcen che ci ha fatto sentire coccolati e parte di una grande famiglia. Un plauso enorme anche ai ragazzi dello staff che non ci hanno mai fatto mancare nulla e sono stati gentilissimi. Ritorneremo sicuramente; magari in compagnia di amici. Grazie di tutto ❤️

Notre hôte Lahcen nous a accueilli chaleureusement avec un thé a la menthe,le Riad est très joliment décoré,authentique et bien agencé,et sans oublier la piscine pour se rafraîchir.on y a passé deux nuits calmes et reposantes,les repas savoureux et très copieux,de plus on a eu de supers conseils de notre hôte pour les loisirs, notamment la sortie en 4/4 avec Athman,qui nous a fait découvrir les secrets du désert de merzouga,car très compétent ,à l'écoute de nos demandes.Allez y les yeux fermés surtout si vous recherchez confort et authenticité.
